This has to be a whinge for whinge's sake. Port supporters are obviously craving some form of acknowledgement from their bigger and more successful cross town rival...and they burst out into tears when they do not get it. The above thread is an example of that.
The fact is they are the biggest losers in the history of the AFL. Why on earth would anyone think they are the best list developers in teh competition when all the youngster did was freeze like a deer in the headlights in the GF. These players embarrassed SA and obliterated any respect Port had developed in their 11 year history.
For a good laugh just go across to the Port Board and see what today's whinge is about.

Why do you care so much?
If you want to know why ALOT of people think we have a great batch of young kids and are good list developers its because over the past 2 years we have had 7 rising star nominations, 1 eventual winner, the runner up, and only 1 of them was a top 10 pick.
We also turned over our list pretty quickly since our GF win in 04, and played in one 3 years later, when in the mean time only 2 other teams made the grand final in that time. This is despite having average picks in the draft.

I dont really care what Neil Craig says, and wouldnt expect him to praise Port, like i doubt Chooco would praise the Crows too much. However i think we develop a list better than Collingwood, and so do most Port supporters. We are not craving atteention from the Crows, if any coach said this we would have questioned it, as we are entitled to.
If you want to talk about craving attention from the cross town rival, have a look in your own backyard, all your posts are having a crack at Port looking for a reaction, just like this post.
