I have haunting nightmares about that, I could never forget the player who was involved in Grant losing the Brownlow. I wish I could forget Collins though.

Obviously not many camera's around when Lockett won.

More a matter of who didn't he hit or should I say "kinghit"

Head high
Low to medium impact
Negligent
In play - within a metre of ball

Accepts 80 point reprimand - eligible for Brownlow. No priors in last 7 years, eligible for discount. (don't know the exact numbers, but similar incidents this year went through without even a reprimand)

He plays the following week, 25 touches, 10 marks, 3 goals againt the Pies at the G - team still suffers a heavy loss, but adds another 2 votes to his Brownlow tally and shits it in with no controversy whatsoever.

Say what you will about this new tribunal system, but short of implementing completely new classifications just for that case, that corrupt ****wit would have found it ten times as difficult to to do anything like he did back then under this kind of system.

Still makes me spew whenever I hear Robert Harvey referred to as a dual Brownlow Medallist

I travelled over and went to a couple of matches a few years back and they were

Bulldogs v Hawthorn at Princes Park
Bulldogs v Geelong at Kardinia

What was the one constant besides a couple of great Bulldog wins?? - Grant got reported in both (Leigh Colbert down at the Cattery). As much as the Grant thing still p...es me off against Hawthorn it is one of the best Dogs wins I have been privy enough to witness - think we were 6 goals down half way through the 3rd quarter from memory.

After the Geelong game though, I was too scared to front up and watch for a while
