With B.McDonald reportedly having a reasonable return match in the reserves, and likewise, Keating and Charman doing well in the seniors most weeks, it is going to become interesting, in a few week's time, when we will virtually have 3 viable ruckmen to choose from for the senior side.

I can really only see us having 2 in the side, at one point in time. I wouldn't like to be in the shoes of the selection committee, in regards to this particular issue!

The way our centre half-forward is going at the moment, Charman is not an automatic exclusion. Once again, Keating didn't do a lot last night, but he did wear Burton down, allowing Charman to dominate at the end.

Would having Keating, McDonald and Charman in the same team make us too slow and tall?

I will say this....Charman is growing in confidence and ability.

Charman spent the most time on the ground last night.

As for choosing who stays and who goes, I am glad it is not my job.

We drop the Guvna. He needs to be dropped. The rate he is going, he may struggle to get back into the senior side. He needs to have one week at least in the reserves maybe 2. We can then play with 3 ruckman having Keating at CHF or maybe even Charman. Then on the performance of the ruckman for 1 or 2 weeks, we will know who will be dropped for the Guvna. Looks like Notting had a good game in the reserves. Shock horror. He will most probably come into the side for Bolton this week. Hart and White have been dropped and have played well ever since. Notting has been dropped and he had a good game in the reserves. Time to drop the Guvna.

We watched the whole of the ressies match. Big Beau was a star.
No way should Charman be dropped. His 2nd and 3rd efforts were sensational last night.

boz and charman for mine. Y is it any harder to dropp keating, just cause he's been there the longest doesn't mean he get's preferences. If he isn't the top or second top, then he shouldn't be in the side. It sounds harsh and it feels bad even typing it, but tough decisions have to be made and the future is in the young players.
