Just a question not a troll.

I know Hyundai isnt the best car brand going around, i know hardly anything about cars, but i would presume that most people that know a thing or 2 about them would try and purchase a different brand, no disrespect, to me a car is a car and i wouldnt care what brand it is aslong as it takes me from point a to b.

So how do you guys feel with Hyundai sponsoring your club with a general consensus on Hyundais like i said above, are you happy with them aslong as you get the money or would you rather a different company sponsoring your club? therefore not wanting the Carlton Football Club being ascosiated with Hyundai

Good to see them coming back on board....and for 2 years...thats only the start, they'll be around as long as Judd is around...smart move by them!!! and excellent stuff by the club!!!

Plus that $5Mil should just about clear up the debt.

I guess the DickSmith deal at Tigerland now looks like a discount at Dimmys....

Bring back the good olds days of 95 when Hyundai were on board!!

Even better when its just your home game sponser! with optus as an away game sponser! Add in the visy shorts deal that swan said was "one of the biggest ive seen, for shorts anyway". reported to be worth some teams jumper sponser!

With us swapping front and back sponsers each week plus the visy logo, were gonna look like the daytona 500 running around!:D

GREAT NEWS !! Hyundai are a company on the move. The 6th largest car manufacturer in the world. This is the mob who sponsor the A-League, and the WORLD CUP. They know sport and what to invest in. The cars are good (I have one !!) and this will make the rest of the clubs sit up and take notice...
Well done Carlton !!

Another corporate scalp for the Batman and Robin team of Pratt and Swann.

The navy blue logo with the white H has always looked good on the Carlton jumper and suits our colours.

The old sponsors logo from 1995 with the blue H on a white background looked worse than this one.

The red Mayne sponsorship and the red Toshiba sponsorship were downright ugly. :thumbsd:

Swann said this deal is as large as he's been involved with as a CEO, so who cares where the money is coming from?

Six Victorian clubs and one interstate club would take this deal in a heartbeat if they had the chance to make this sort of money.

Im thinking Denny Crane and Alan Shore off Boston Legal if any one else watches this show. Can just see the two of them sitting out on the balcony at Raheen sipping on the finest scotch imaginable and puffing on a cigar all while having a nice little laugh at FAT HEAD ED'S expense!! We got swann who helped get judd, whats next?? Fraser in the PSD? Pratty buys out the lexus centre? I love being able to give it to Collingscum supporters again, nothing beats it:thumbsu:

Did they ever really leave though?

I know they haven't been uniform sponsors since '99, but I think they have still been sponsors of the CFC...

I remember an article in the past year or so about Demetriou signing the new sponsorship deal with Toyota on the hood of a Toyota which was brought out onto the ground at a Carlton home game and apparently got a few noses out of joint with our sponsors Hyundai??

Carmaker Hyundai produces career-best effort to win award (http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,22806205-662,00.html)
HYUNDAI has made history by becoming the first Korean carmaker to win Carsguide Car of the Year award.

Hyundai's new i30 hatchback is also the first Korean car to take out any main Australian motoring award, beating rivals from Holden, Ford, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

The i30 dominated the judges' scoring in the 11-car shootout to decide the top award.

The win is a big breakthrough for the brand that previously had a questionable reputation, with cars often criticised for being low-quality, boring and of strange designs.

The i30, though, won the nine-person judging panel with its European styling and sporty handling and performance.

The car was designed in the company's German design studio to help it compete against European-styled cars such as the Volkswagen Golf.

The i30 also won the first annual Green Car of the Year prize thanks to its 1.6-litre turbo diesel engine that produces good power and economy.

Another factor in Hyundai's win was its cost - the i30 starts at $18,990 - considerably lower than its rivals.

Volkswagen's Golf GT TSI finished second ahead of the Mazda2.

North's sponsor was third. ;) :)
