I think you accidentally put an 's' on the end of the word fan for some reason. If you have seen a guy with Nic Fosdike's number on his Swans Jumper, then there is a high chance it was either Fosdike himself or me. I got it put on there before the 2005 Grand Final, and the guy at the sporting goods store said "But isn't that Nic Fosdike's number? Are you sure?"
I usually put five dollars on him for the Brownlow each year, and drink shots for each Brownlow vote he gets. One year he got three best on grounds, and it just happened to be the year I had a bottle of Chautreuse, and that night ended messily. I had 10 dollars on him at 150 to 1 to win the Norm Smith. So close, but I lost my Swans member hat and sunglasses that night, so there's a high chance that even if he had won, I would have lost the ticket anyway.
So drunk that day I don't remember the last quarter, one of the worst regrets of my life. If you look at the DVD, when all the players first get up on the dias with the cup it flashes up to me in the crowd. I have my hat on backwards, and am swaying around randomly clapping and chanting "Sydney", completely out of time with the rest of my friends. Not even smiling, because I don't think I realised what was going on, I just wanted to go to the toilet because I had held it in for the entire last quarter.
I'd better get back on topic I guess, so I encourage everyone to get aboard the Fosdike bandwagon this year. There is plenty of room, and you can get pretty good odds for the brownlow at the moment. Hopefully they don't pick this year to give him the number 14 jumper (I'm joking) because I don't have enough money anymore (I'm being serious) to change the 2 into a 4!

I'm not naming names but there is a HUGE Fosdike fan I know and hell do love hanging shit of him in front of her because of the reaction I get out of her. Still she didn't let me forget how well he played in the 05 GF, that night or pretty much anytime since.

"Monday's training session under beautiful blue skies consisted of a 6km run from Centennial Park to the SCG followed by a light skills session. Nic Fosdike, a traditional winner, won the time trial ahead of Ed Barlow and Ryan O'Keefe."
Even better when you consider every kilometre Roosy probably made him sit on a bench somewhere for a few minutes. I hope this means he get immunity at the first selection meeting. Not a bad nickname either, Nic 'Traditional Winner' Fosdike has a nice ring to it.

I never thought I would see the day when I would have to share Fosdike with other fans! It might talk me a while to get used to, but it's a pleasant surprise all the same.
How good is it over here in Club Roomie? All hidden away from the constant negativity. It's nice for a change to be able to talk up or light-heartedly bag some players without having to read about how we should trade/delist/drop/never have gotten them. I may never go back to the main board again. You can't even bag McVeigh's voice over there without starting a slanging match!
Luv Humph.

I can have his leg and you can have his right arm.. :D:thumbsu:
And I agree, its good to just get away from the serious talk and its great to relax in midst of a tough season next year (hope not though). I think the Club Roomie is great and should be taken light-heartedly, just a bit of fun of course. :thumbsu:
I also hear that Fosdike and his wife have a little business together, something related to baby clothes and stuff.
