And according to Bulldog supporters on big footy we will finish in sixth in 2008. Six was the number of the mode ( the one with the most votes ), the median (the middle vote) and the average position. This places us with a home final in week one, and being the favourites to advance to the semi finals. Here are the detailed results:
Top 8 votes - 58 out of 69. 84%
Bottom 8 votes - 11 out of 69. 16%
Top 4 votes - 11 out of 69. 16%
Pos 5-8 - 47 out of 69. 68%
Pos 9-12 - 9 out of 69. 13%
Bottom four - 2 out of 69. 3%

This means that 97% of us believe the dogs will improve in 2008.

so if we all think we are going to finish 6th, why are there so many negative doomsayers out there?

I think that if we finished anywhere from 16th to 3rd the year before, the average opinion will always say that we will finish around 6...

You have the stats for the bottom 8 and top 8 then you break it down, to the top 4 and 5-8 so should't the % be differant?
ie Top 4 11 out of 58
Pos 5-8 47 out of 58

But any way good effort, i put us @ 2 i dunno, but why not:p
