These are the former swans that have been nominated in the draft on Nov 24th.

Simon Phillips
Sam Rowe

David Spriggs
Jarrad Sundqvist
Luke Vogels
Josh Willoughby
Melbourne must be thinking of picking Simpkin up in the Pre-season Draft.

IMO the ones with * have some hope, but even then they're pretty slim
The ones with # are training with us and could get re-rookied
And the rest have no chance whatsoever

Several of those are residual nominations from previous years. A nomination is current for three years unless picked up by a club. So the likes of Sundqvist, Willoughby, Spriggs et al are probably not seeking to resume their careers (although if they suddenly got a call I'm sure they'd think about it after recovering from the shock).

Spriggs also has a chance, he's been playing for Port Melbourne in the VFL and has been playing very well. I think he might have even claimed some BOGs.

I'm pretty confident Phillips and Simpkins will get picked by other clubs.

but he should have been,i'm sorry to keep going on about this dud but he isn't a footballer he's a guy that can run all day.
if he didn't come from nsw he wouldn't be playing for us,remember he was picked 5 in the 2002 draft.
