how many picks do we have left in both the psd and the rookie draft.

1 PSD pick

4 rookie picks

If all goes well we take Bellchambers with our PSD and then take Pfieffer and maybe if Gourdis in the rookie draft

Of course that won't happen

We will take Richards in the PSD and hope a gun falls to the rookie draft

Key guys left for us:

Players who missed out on the ND
Joseph
Arrowsmith
Gourdis
Geartner
Bellchambers
Rockliffe

Coburg
Silvester
Neville (with the options left in the PSD, he could eaily fall to the rookie draft for us:thumbsu:)

Other:
Richards
Pfieffer

Other then Richards, if we can nab any two of these players + Silvester with our remaininng 4 picks we will have done well. Hopefully its Bellchabmers, Gourdis and Pieffer + Neville

yeah i think we need to get Gourdis in the PSD to make it safe
and no other clubs are interested in Pfieffer so i think he is a done deal in the Rookie
Bellchambers, Rookie if we can but i wouldnt go for him in the PSD
Neville\Arrowsmith im happy with one or the other

Surely now we can wait another 12 months and take another big kid then? That gives us another year to assess how Graham is coming along. Not as if there won't be anyone in next years draft with Bellchamber's ability, or potential ability more to the point.

why didnt bellchambers get drafted?

he was in every phantom draft i saw......below 40 mind you.

so was arrowsmith?

that kid tore the grand final apart?

dale thomas did the same thing 3 years ago & went no. 2!!!!

Bellchambers: great tap ruckman but big question marks against both speed and endurance.
Arrowsmith: simply leg speed. Lucky Greg Williams wasn't in the drafts of latter years as he'd be left on the side lines.

I think that both these boys will still get picked up either in the PSD or rookie draft.

Arrowsmith is similar to Tivendale although Tiv is quicker. Neither is much for a contest and both are inconistant by footy.

Williams was left on the sidelines even in his own era. Remember he was cut by Carlton and released by Geelong before finding his niche on the SCG and Princess Park (two smallest grounds in the comp).

Hockey is worth considering.

If not as a rookie, definately down at the Burgers next year.

Carnell should be considered ahead of Horne Neville and Silvester from the Burger group,in my view.

Joe Hockey?

How would he go lining up at full forward for the Tiges!!

Would take Gourdis as pick number 1 in PSD. I think we should always take a development ruckman as a rookie and l like the basic principle that the Tigers have implemented over the past few years of rewarding their best VFL player. Therefore, would go like this:

PSD - Gourdis

Rookie #1 - Bellchambers
Rookie #2 - Neville
Rookie #3 - Dont care, but if Collard is still around. Done.
