Not that bad a side considering it is made up purely of our kids aged 22 or younger heading into next season. When you consider that the following players: Tuck, Pettifer, Newman, Coughlan, Hyde, Moore, McMahon, King and Polak who are between 23-25 can be added to that list, then the future does look very bright indeed.

Of course I do realise that they still have to develop into a side that is capable of winning games of footy but on sheer potential there is a lot to get excited about. Bring on the future and I am really going to enjoy heading to the footy in 08 regardless of the results because it will just be great to watch these kids developing.

I think your team there shows how weak our ruck stocks are...Not fully convinced on Graham and Pattison is a great work horse but not a great tap ruckman, YET.
Hopefully Putt is the ruckman we need in a few years.

Graham, Raines, Meyer and especially Schultz's are not yet certain at all.

Not saying anything is a certainty but when you look at the team when Wallace took over and compare it to this team, it is clear to see that our future is looking bright, as I said now the trick is getting the kids to play to their full potential so that the last 27 years of pain can be forgotten about.

I guess the pleasing thing is that we have a team that we believe can be competitive in a few years, with a majority of them under 25...as opposed to a team that wasn't going anywhere and majority of them were over 26.
