Who do you think did the best in the draft?

The Weagles got the most draft picks, and so I guess they'd be up there because of the quantity. The Blues got the most talented player it the draft by a long long way though, and were the winner of the draft/trade period as a whole by securing Judd and Kruezer - that's a pretty amazing achievement, considering the Tigers were the 2007 spooners. After Kruezer, the next 6-7 players in this draft were pretty even. :)

actually, I'd have Cotchin and Kreuzer on a similar level, it's just that the Blues needed a ruck, and going tall is better then going small, if 2 players are similat talent wise.

Only a Carlton supporter would consider getting the number one draft pick in those circumstances as "an amazing acheivement" :)

Eagles did well but you'd expect them to with the picks they had.

Bulldogs and Melbourne also did very well, but I do wonder about the types of players the Demons drafted...

The Eagles won. I also thought Essendon did good.

It all remains to be seen really.

Eagles did the best because they had the best picks

But I think either Melbourne, Richmond or Essendon did the best considering their picks.

Two reasons why the Blues won the draft/trade period by about 4 light-years...

I can't say I'm surprised in the slightest that a Hawthorn supporter comments on someone's groin.

Didn't you hear Brett Ratten, he said that Carlton most likely won't be supurb this year, leaving us with two options, they either play well make the 8 and it becomes a stellar effort that exceeded expectations, or they finish last and
it then we all have to remember that Ratten said they weren't expecting a great year and will just have to rebuild with their 4th No.1 pick in 4 years.

No. I can't get enough of it. The Carlton Football Club is the most successful lLub in the AFL with 16 flags, and they are showing the football world just why this is the case. Meanwhile StKilda have sold their heart and soul in search of the Poker Machine Dollar. What a disgrace. :)

I have no idea what you're on about now. lol. Some bitter contorted logic I suspect. Not sure if you're aware, but the Tiges finished solid bottom in 2007, and are the reigning spooners. Anyway, are you happy with the Tiges relocation to Craigieburn? Phase 1 of the relocation is complete. Looks like the Tiges are is search of the Poker machine dollar as well. I guess 28 consecutive success-less years ain't exactly a good revenue raiser. :)

You're moving to Frankston because that will give you the most Poker Machine revenue. No other reason. A complete sell out. :)

Or we can finish tenth and show similar improvement to the Hawks in 2005 or 2006.

The only Carlton will finish last is if the likes of Melbourne, Richmond, Essendon and Footscray don't field a side next year.

Or we have a bad run with injury.

No you won't, once it becomes mathematically impossible for you to make the finals it will be tank, tank, tank for Carlton all the way to the bottom.

Oh come on, Richmond aren't paying a thing to go to Craigiburn yet we are doing a complete upgrade of Punt Road, what would the use be if we upgrade and refurbish Punt Road only to leave it?

Unlike some clubs we rely on supporter base and loyalty to get us money, we don't syphon it out of our Presidents who in turn syphon it out of the public by some illegal activities, we had 30,000 members this season and we finished last, what will happen WHEN we start winning games, not only did we have 30,000 members we had the 2nd highest game attendance, revenue RAISED!
