SEN Draft review this morning [Archive]

Two player managers (Connors and ESP) were reviewing draft...when asked re Myers, Connors said:

Future potential leader of the club
Won the U17 Best player in International Series in Ireland (BRYCE GIBBS PLAYED IN THE SAME TEAM/TOURNAMENT)
Rated by team-mates on that trip as the best team player and player who exuded the qualities they all agreed upon for success prior to tour
A potential gun midfielder
One of the best in the draft for skills
In the end, said that we had an exceptional talent in MyersOn the others

Pears - a great defender with pace
Daniher - Great bloodlines and a future KPP
Hooker - expectional pace and agility for his size (tested very well for a 105cm at the draft camp)

Also said that Essendon and Melbourne did the best out of the draft as far as Vic teams...

In addition, I just spoke with one of the key coaching staff at the club who said that they believe that Myers is a "real find" and he doesnt feed me the corporate marketing BS - he tells me as it is!!

Im realllyyyy happy about the draft. The more i hear about Hooker the better.

Ive now heard/read a few times that Myers was perhaps a steal at pick 6?
Does it get any better??
Ok this is probably a biased comment but IMO the only player I would have picked before Myers is Cotchin...I hope Im wrong and Myers turns out the best of the lot!
In all seriousness even after all the talk that this draft was one of the weaker ones the top ten appears to be as good as any...though it did drop away after that. The top ten is full of future stars.
