View Full Version : Keating Out?
I just saw the team for this weekend and it says :
Out: Keating, Bolton (omitted)
Any news on why Keating is out? I missed the news. He is not injured again or anything is he?

I think I saw on AFL.com.au that he had the flu or something, but was expected to play. Not sure.

Both omitted, apparently. Looks like the committee has been impressed with young Charman too.
Keating's listed as an emergency, though, so who knows?

Keating hasnt been playing well of late, especially last game. McDonald is obviously right and as someone said earlier in the week, we are trialing out how well McDonald and Charman work together.
IMO, the Guvna should have been dropped instead of Keating and we play Keating CHF. That isn't to be. If the Guvna doesn't have a good game this week, he will be dropped.

I don't think Brown played too badly last week against the Roos, busted through a few packs and took a few marks, didn't see the stats but didn't seem to be too bad to me.

Why was Keating dropped?
Don't think he was playing that bad to be dropped like a hot spud.
I think Beau could have done with another game in the ressies this week. He played ok last week but it was his first game back after a rather long lay off, he needs to get a bit of match fitness back.
In any case I'm glad to see my boy back out on the park. :)
I wonder if Spotty Charman will be the #1 ruckman this week?
Good Luck Spotty ... give em' heaps. ;)
Just love the ruckman. :D
cheers ... Kaz :)
