Given that we now have Fletcher; Watson; Neagle & Daniher I was wondering whether anybody was able to list any other potential Father-son selections that we may have coming up (prior to Tom & Alex Hird that is;))?
We had such a golden era throughout the 80s and early 90s, and hopefully those genes have been passed on to more future stars. I've heard there is another couple of Danihers around & possibly a Madden? Are there any teenage Salmons; Van Der Haars; Thompsons; Harveys; O'Donnells; Bewicks etc... to come through?
Do we know whether the club keeps a database and runs clinics for qualified sons? This could assist with their development, keep them interested in the right sport and keep them associated with the right club. Given that recruiting is such an even playing field these days, quality father-son selections are worth their weight in gold (just ask Geelong).

There's a Ted Daniher that's 16 years old I believe. Scott Carey, son of Steve Carey who played 105 with Essendon.

Alwyn Davey has three sons, so getting Froggy over the 100 game mark is a must.

He's gonna need to stop pulling his pants up so high if he intends to breed! ;)
Jake Long - Michael's son. I coached him through AusKick for about 5 years...he will be a ripper!!!

While you're at it, tell Lucas to try a different position or something, he has 3 daughters, so something is going wrong.
I have noticed a little blood-nut Fletcher though, and we know they have good genes. Good work Dusty!

The way little Hirdy was getting stuck into McVeigh last season shows he might be a tough litlle bastard as well. Imagine Hirdy with Mongrel!

Um he already has, just hasn't produced a son yet.
