I haven’t been registered on this website for long, but I have been browsing around for about a year or something (not regularly but whenever I hear a rumor or just general footy news I jump on).

When I first saw Bay 13 there used to be some real funny attacks on other clubs that I used to actually have a laugh to. But lately it seems some hawk supporters come on posting some of the most pointless dribble I have ever heard.

I'm all for having some banter but how bout putting some thought into it. A few of the threads I’ve seen are crap like, 'geelongs premiership is tainted', 'north are shithouse', 'richmond, rabble'.

I know there’s a lot of banter between North and Hawthorn, and I personally believe we have a much better list and a better future, but hey, you beat us in the most important game of the year we have played, so credit where its due.

Then I go on the hawks forum to discuss topics and I read stuff like ‘how good is it when one of us supporters gets attacked on Bay 13, we all jump in and defend each other’, it’s not the bloody pub you wankers, its an internet forum!

Don’t get me wrong, im not embarrassed to be a Hawks supporter, I have been a member for 12 years now (i'm 20) and I absolutely love the club, but man am I embarrassed to be affiliated with some of these deadshits.

I know you could say ‘well don’t come in here if your gonna complain’ but the thing is I don’t mind hearing some banter but actually think about it for a sec before you post.

I always thought we were well liked amongst the football community and I don’t blame you guys for hating us seeing as some of the wankers that are on here, but don’t judge all the supporters based on a few knob jockeys. Go to the pub after the game when we play you and have a chat to a few of us and im sure you’ll think better of us.

Hawthorn are over-represented on this forum.

We have the full spread of good posters and pathetic posters.

Compare this to Geelong, who also have a lot of posters:

Get over it pal. I started that thread and make no apologies for doing so. It was a simple play on the whole Tambling v Roughead and Deledio v Franklin malarkey that has been going on here for three years.

Like most of the other people that frequent this place, I come onto Bay 13 for a bit of fun. Nobody (except you and one or two Richmond supporters it seems) takes it seriously and to be honest, your post just comes across as a bit of a whinge. I save my sensible stuff for either the main board or the Hawk board. I suggest that you keep yourself to those areas if you are annoyed by what you percieve is a lack of wit on Bay 13 at present. Fortunately, a person's sense of humour is purely subjective. Some people like fart jokes for example. Others do not. I fall into the latter category but will stop short of criticising those that disagree with my sense of humour.

Having said that, I feel very priveleged that you have joined us minnows of the comedy world. I know that I am a better person for reading your critique. However, just in case you are unable to get through to all of us comedic zygotes, may I suggest for your own sanity that you keep away from here at all costs. You will get many more laughs from the stand up DVD's produced by great comics such as John Cleese, Richard Prior, John Belushi and Chris Rock. If these avenues fail, I suggest reruns of Seinfeld or The (UK version of) Office. Outside of that, a viewing of Richmond v Geelong from earlier this season should keep you rolling in the aisles for hours and away from us fools that clog up Bay 13 with our pathetic and comedically impotent rubbish.

All I am saying is that if you go through the posting history of the gormless parasite that posted the original critique, you will note that this person has never contributed anything remotely worthwhile on Bay 13 or anywhere else. You have to have a lot of nerve to criticise when you contribute bugger all yourself. It is only those that bring something of value to the table that reserve the right to criticise. Perhaps we can set up a "Sooks And Whingers Forum" for these types of people?

I am guilty of posting some utter garbage on Bay 13. I do it to get a response. I like to think that I contribute some witty banter from time to time to balance this. I am happy to cop my share from the regulars around here. I dish it up and will cop it back happily from those that participate. However, it is laughable to see that a guy that professes to be new to the site and has only ever perused the musings of those that reside here has the nerve to slag off those that he finds annoying before building up a track record of his own. It's kind of like taking 0 for 150 and making a duck in cricket yet sledging all day from first slip. You have to earn your stripes before you post a nonsense thread like this one.

The way most Hawks fans are acting is certainly childish and I would be mortified to be linked with their mob. Cant expect all of them to be clowns, but the overwhelming majority of them seem to be absolute fools. What can you expect from 14 year olds:rolleyes:

I haven’t been registered on this website for long, but I have been browsing around for about a year or something (not regularly but whenever I hear a rumor or just general footy news I jump on).

When I first saw Bay 13 there used to be some real funny attacks on other clubs that I used to actually have a laugh to. But lately it seems some hawk supporters come on posting some of the most pointless dribble I have ever heard.

I'm all for having some banter but how bout putting some thought into it. A few of the threads I’ve seen are crap like, 'geelongs premiership is tainted', 'north are shithouse', 'richmond, rabble'.

I know there’s a lot of banter between North and Hawthorn, and I personally believe we have a much better list and a better future, but hey, you beat us in the most important game of the year we have played, so credit where its due.

I was pretty stoked that I got to watch one of the best teams ever play this year in geelong and I hear Hawks supporters saying 'hey if we beat north, we would’ve beaten you, so that means we pretty much won the cup, and you winning it means its tainted'. Are you taking the piss or do you actually believe that?????

Then I go on the hawks forum to discuss topics and I read stuff like ‘how good is it when one of us supporters gets attacked on Bay 13, we all jump in and defend each other’, it’s not the bloody pub you wankers, its an internet forum!

I saw a thread saying by a hawks supporter to a richmond supporters Rioli >>> Rance. Well you’d wanna hope so seeing as Rioli was 6 picks before Rance!!!!!!!!!!

All I am saying is that if you go through the posting history of the gormless parasite that posted the original critique, you will note that this person has never contributed anything remotely worthwhile on Bay 13 or anywhere else. You have to have a lot of nerve to criticise when you contribute bugger all yourself. It is only those that bring something of value to the table that reserve the right to criticise. Perhaps we can set up a "Sooks And Whingers Forum" for these types of people?

I am guilty of posting some utter garbage on Bay 13. I do it to get a response. I like to think that I contribute some witty banter from time to time to balance this. I am happy to cop my share from the regulars around here. I dish it up and will cop it back happily from those that participate. However, it is laughable to see that a guy that professes to be new to the site and has only ever perused the musings of those that reside here has the nerve to slag off those that he finds annoying before building up a track record of his own. It's kind of like taking 0 for 150 and making a duck in cricket yet sledging all day from first slip. You have to earn your stripes before you post a nonsense thread like this one.

I was around in the 80s and we did what Geelong did this year for SEVEN years in a row. If Geelong did what they did this year for the next SIX then they can lay claim to that. I have been to well over 600 games of football and have been watching football since 1974, Geelong just barely make the top 10.

I hate Essendon but they were a better side in 1984, 1985 and 2000 than Geelong were.

Geelong Crazy 26 has destroyed Bay 13 with his stupid posting and Geelong supporters in general have murdered Bay 13. The banter between Kangas and Hawks is all in good fun but Geelong have become very malicious. Geelong_Crazy26 is only 13 and has not enjoyed the great Dynasty of Hawthorn. We have never waited 44 years for a premiership in the entire history of the club, we joined 28 years later than Geelong, they had won SIX premierships between 1897 and 1963. We won ONE between 1925 and 1963. The two longest droughts have been 36 and 28.

Bask in the glory, it might take another 44 years to win another one.

Get over it pal. I started that thread and make no apologies for doing so. It was a simple play on the whole Tambling v Roughead and Deledio v Franklin malarkey that has been going on here for three years.

Like most of the other people that frequent this place, I come onto Bay 13 for a bit of fun. Nobody (except you and one or two Richmond supporters it seems) takes it seriously and to be honest, your post just comes across as a bit of a whinge. I save my sensible stuff for either the main board or the Hawk board. I suggest that you keep yourself to those areas if you are annoyed by what you percieve is a lack of wit on Bay 13 at present. Fortunately, a person's sense of humour is purely subjective. Some people like fart jokes for example. Others do not. I fall into the latter category but will stop short of criticising those that disagree with my sense of humour.

Having said that, I feel very priveleged that you have joined us minnows of the comedy world. I know that I am a better person for reading your critique. However, just in case you are unable to get through to all of us comedic zygotes, may I suggest for your own sanity that you keep away from here at all costs. You will get many more laughs from the stand up DVD's produced by great comics such as John Cleese, Richard Prior, John Belushi and Chris Rock. If these avenues fail, I suggest reruns of Seinfeld or The (UK version of) Office. Outside of that, a viewing of Richmond v Geelong from earlier this season should keep you rolling in the aisles for hours and away from us fools that clog up Bay 13 with our pathetic and comedically impotent rubbish.

It's not just Hawthorn supporters though, I've seen plenty of Geelong poster created threads that make me shake my head.

You have to remember, it's Bay 13. Hawthorn supporters know they have no reason to feel superior to Geelong supporters, but they pretend they do to get a rise. It's what it's about. Most people would look at gc26s thread about Hodge and Franklin not getting a game for the Cats and think he is batshit insane. Yet it's out to over 200 replies. If you are setting out with the intent to troll (remember, Bay 13) then it's a raging success. Of course, with gc26, he probably believes it, which just adds to the fun!

I saw the title of the Rioli>>>>Rance thread and laughed, as Crypt says he was pointing fun at the whole Franklin/Tambling scenario. He is hoping that a Tiger supporter either reads that and flies into a rage, or has a chuckle and fires back.

As for the downfall of Bay 13, people will always try and tell you that everything used to be better. Football, music, movies - pointing it out doesn't help anything, and it's all subjective anyway. Reminds me of a good quote:

I only started hating Geelong at the start of this year, so as a punishment THE MAN UPSTAIRS made Geelong win the premiership. I am going to stop hating them and go back to ignoring them and showing the disdain they deserve because of 7 premierships.
