View Full Version : The Days until this Website Implodes Thread

There are 240 days until Geelong and Hawthorn meet on a Friday night in 2008.
Judging by the "spirit" shown by both sets of supporters this past month, I can only conclude one thing.
This website is doomed.
It will surely be crushed by the volume of crud that will be flying back and forth leading up to the game, and will decend into the abyss when that final whistle is blown as one set of supporters log on to post at exactly the same time as each other.
Goodbye dear BigFooty.
It was fun while it lasted.
ps. Non Geelong / Hawk fans may breathe a big f**king sigh of relief.

Geelong will celebrate louder than they ever have if they manage to win that game. It will be bigger than the 1963 premiership celebrations....

As long as we win the flag I don't really care about a H&A match.
It's hawthorn supporters own little battle as they can't compete with the big boys in the finals.
Gotta have something to hang your hat on I guess.

pfft...I couldn't care about beating some sideshow insignificant team from Tassie.
I'll be worried about the Double.

Don't kid yourself Poida.
You will be on here in a snap if Geelong get up. And fair enough too. You will serve up a big, "Now STFU", to which there will be no reply.
And if you go down, you know that the Hawks boys will fire right up. And as much as you say it won't mean anything to you, it will.
Even if not from a footy point of view *nods regarding chances at the double*, but just from the angle that you will have to put up with another year of Hawthorn taunts. They must bother you a bit, otherwise you wouldn't bite every time.

It won't mean more to me then any othe pre-season game.
To be honest, I'd love to see Hawthorn beat us, then us win the flag again next year. Would be great.

I think no matter the result, this board will go into meltdown.

I think Hawthorn vs Geelong is a better rivalry than the SA Ferals or WA Wankers.

Poida, everytime you call us Tasmania (which is far from original and damn lame) we'll have to you Melbourne. Why? Maybe because you play many of your home games in Melbourne.
You actually don't seem as stupid as alot of the other morons on Bay 13, but you lack so much creativity it's not funny.
How many times have you said:
*Deleted due to court injunction
Notice how no-one credits you with a good call and none of the hawks supporters bother to retort? You know why? Want some help Poida?
IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE UNORIGINAL AND ABOUT AS FUNNY AS CANCER

and your retort is awesome, it failed to contain any mention of a round 4 victory, the number of premierships you have won, that buddy is better than carey, that the hawks were blah blah blah
as for cancer it is the hawk team that has a cancer, which it is failing to address

Nice of you to acknowledge that there will be no *meaningful* reply.
I actually hope we'll play twice next year, maybe once in the finals? Have a chat to the boys, see if they can pull the finger out in 2008?

I think most Geelong and Hawks fans will be expecting to figure deep into finals, so therefore you must think theres a chance that those 2 teams will be a good chance to play in a Prelim. And with 4 spots, means theres a good chance those teams could meet.
Imagine the Bay then... :D
