I went to this game in either 2000 or 2004. I can't rememeber where the game was? I think it was either Subiaco or Optus Oval. I think the teams were either Adelaide V Bulldogs or Sydney V Brisbane Lions. Although it may have been an intra--club practice involving either St.Kilda or Essendon but if it was actually an official practice match then it was between Fremantle and Hawthorn at AAMI Stadium. But my mate's girlfriend who goes for Collingwood reckons it may have been a NAB Cup clash in either 2001 or 1999. I really disagree with her on that one as I'm positive it was St.Kilda's intra club practice match in either 2000 or 2004.

Geelong plays the most exciting brand of footy in the comp by a mile, how can you comment on the cats so much when clearly haven't seem them play?
fishbowell will never directly reply to your comments...he randomly patrols threads and when he sees an oppurtunity he will make some unfunny, pathetic derogatory comment about geelong....best just to ignore him

Or that the moon is exactly 1, 240th the size of the sun and 1, 240th the distance away from the Earth as the sun. Which is what creates the perfect solar eclipse...
Mystifying and proof of design me thinks.

To be honest I am not sure how anyone can not. There aren't too many physicists who don't get there and for good reason. I am not a physicist but read a lot of stuff on cosmology and it's difficult not to wonder how so many amazing things could be a coincidence.

Geelong are like watching the netball.
You have a point there toiletbowl. Never seen anyone flood in netball, nor do Geelong, and they generally try to attack down the corridor in netball, much like Geelong do. :p

Polar bears are excellent swimmers. They have been known to swim more than 60 miles without a single rest.
Much like Lance Whitnall and the WCE cheer squad leader Polar bears can eat up to 10% of their total body weight in less than ten minutes.

I remember a Hawthorn v Footscray match at Waverley in the early nineties I think. The prematch entertainment was blokes in sumo suits in all teams colors.
It was a knockout comp and if you fell over you were out. I can't remember which team won, but the call went up for Gary to get out there. Which he did. He's charged the winning guy and knocked him flying. He then did a lap of honor of the square while the crowd went nuts. Genuinely funny footy moment.:D:D

O.J. Simpson was considered for the role of the Terminator, but the producers feared he was "too nice" to be taken seriously as a cold-blooded killer.
