I watched the Bombers train at Princess Park after the Blues had finnished for the day.

I was really impressed with Gary O'Donnell's work as an assistant in some of the drills

Just wondering if he was interviewed for the top job there, or does he seem stuck to be forever in an assistants role ?

He has stated that he doesn't really have an interest in being the head coach and sees himself getting into football admin more in the future.

I don't think he's interested in the head coaching gig, he's more interested in the administration side of things.
