We may have found that tall/athletic backman you want so badly, Vis.

Apparently McDougall played at CHB for Perth today and was one of their best players. Towelled up Richard Ambrose.

At 196cm he's around the Dustin Fletcher/Jonathan Hay height, and his agility for a big bloke has never been questioned (I remember people marvelling at his agility test in the 2K draft camp).

Naturally he's still got a lot of work to do, but it's good to see that he has the ability to play down back.

Hopefully he can have a better run with injuries and string some games together.

WOOHOO! :D

At least thats one of our half forward options making the switch. One of them had to go back and maybe McDougall is the one?

Hopefully Kasey Green will be rewarded with his efforts by being elevated to the senior list next week.

And its good to see Munro figuring well in the WAFL.

Green really needs to break his way into the side and then keep his spot! Much like Wooden last year, he is on the ropes, his football skill is not questioned though...it is his age, if he cant get a regular game at 22?? Will he ever. I for one hope he makes it.

He has had a few pretty good games at AFL level, but not enough of them. IMO he is not good enough for AFL footy. At his best he is an average player at AFL level, at his average he is not good enough. Quite simply, in a premiership team there is no room for a player of his ability, and I would hope we would be premiership material in 2003+.

And with Morrison and Read to come back next year, and Humm also lurking in the background, it will only get harder for him to break into the team as the small/medium sized defender.

Rudeforth also played in the Claremont reserves. He was listed as one of the 'best' players.

I dont think we should write him off just yet. He's had some stellar performances in the WAFL in the past couple of weeks and should be given the opportunity to prove if he can play AFL.

Look what happened to Wooden when given the chance to cement his place in the side...
