Great video, thanks for putting it up, brought back some great memories. Actually I'll have to watch the DVD again soon.
Having said that, there was a tinge of sadness that there were some great players in that side who won't be playing in our colours again.

Great vid, kinda depressing seeing Judd and Cuz though :o
That was great, brings back fantastic memories. Brings tears to my eyes
Great Video! Great song too, one my favourite songs of all time. Yah it is sad seeing Judd and Cousins run around in the Blue and Gold knowing that they never will again.

I know what you mean, so much of it is new.
Brilliant video. Dunno if the new footage was actually part of Channel Ten's footage or just recorded by a supporter. ;)
Also just saw the 'Adam Goodes Cry' video. :D

6:08-6:09.
I actually remember seeing footage in the changerooms after the game and it wasn't on my dvd, but it was the whole Selwood family together. It didn't matter that one played for WCE, one played for Brisbane and one was about to get drafted - they were a family all together and as happy as they could be.
Things like that get lost from time to time...

Really well put together clip.
I must admit the couple of shots of Cousins in the rooms before the game stung a bit - I will miss watching him play for us.
Laugh at the goal umpires practising their signals. Seriously WTF.
literally was depressing seeing judd cousins and chick playing. though an excellent video which in my honest opinion the best ive seen.
Watching that really highlights how good that team was, the best Eagles side ever. It also hits me how 'left field' all the dramas of 2007 were - Even in your wildest dreams how could you see that coming?
I remember reading a post earlier in the year, someone suggested that 2007 was going to be the equivilant of 1993 for WestCoast (with the injuries and all), if only it was injuries.
Highlights how serious the problems must have been down at the club.
Cousins at 1:28 - he ran that team and later tore it apart.
2008 WCE will be the strongest and closest team in the AFL

Probably had just been offered some cash from Richard Pratt

Not the best eagles side ever IMO.
*1991 was unbelievable and 1994 went all the way and were lead by a supreme defence.
*During the season it was injuries that destroyed us. I am willing to say that had Kerr, Cousins and Judd played at full to 90% fitness for the whole 2nd half of the season we would have at least won one of the games Vs Port and Collingwood.

That was a very well put together vid. Extremely well done. Yes, 2007 wasn't all that great, but as a club I think we will be stronger for it. I couldn't care less what has happened since, but that moment when the siren went ...
Brilliant, thanks Fury and D4E.
My son loved the ben cousins wink!
i actually loved that bit too, and when he nods...its as if 'our time is now, lets switch on'...even someone shaking armstrongs hand....the look in fletchers eyes, and cox trying to breathe!....ahhhhh memories
Highlights of 06 will always be joy to watch :thumbsu:
but there will always be that touch of sadness as BC and CJ will no longer wear the WCE jumper.

but it really was an honour watching Benny for 11 years :thumbsu:
as for Juddy - well it was great having him for 7 years - too bad he left for whatever reason it might be
but loved the look in the players eyes before the game - especially Benny's - he knew it was our time!

That air of confidence that Cousins had is one of the things we will miss most now that has he has gone.
For all his faults away from the football field, he had become a great team leader. The couple of shots of Cousins before the game showed an assuredness that must have built the confidence of the playing group.
Alas that same confidence probably contributed to his attitude to life away from football.

Agreed 100%
His leadership was first class
pretty much like everything else about him - except his obvious fault
