I'm with that guy. It really is too far ahead to make too many plans, there's a good chance I will just rock up to the pub for a countery, a few pints and watch the cracking while 'avin a larf. I am not the type of Lad who is able to plan too far ahead.

What did you think I meant. Pop (sorry Rock) in to the Pub. Have a snitzel in the beer garden (countery) same shite and a few Pints, Oh, doesn't beer go in pints?, watch some Cricket while having a deep and meaningful.

OK so I made the post look pretty. Just getting everyones attention and wanting this thing to work coz we seemed to have lost a lot of interest in this since the free ticket option is gone. :thumbsd: Say it how you will but that's all it is Beer, Snity and ****ing cricket with what will be the coolest ****ing crew at AMII next year 2008. We are the GUN CLUB. Let's be organised

Karting is optional. Me and my mates have been talking about it for a while.

Eitherway I will be at the Pub with as many from my crew as I can. So see you there or not. :thumbsu:

Actually, we havent lost much interest at all. Its just most of the people interested are not going to exchange their tickets this year. Id suggest we'll still have a fairly strong presence at the back of the bay.

Meanwhile, im the 'just rock up to a pub and drink' type, not the 'lets schedule a playdate' type. Hell, i dont even know if im going to get up tomorrow, let alone what im gonna do. Its one of the many benefits of not having to do anything until febuary.

Let's hope, the more the merrier. :thumbsu:

You don't call anyone to say your going to the Pub. You know your friends? Far out when I am off to the Pub I gather up as many of the troops as I can be it from work or where ever or however. Makes for a much more intersting time when you are with a few mates. Same shite here except we are using a forum.

Next time we should just use the force and hopefull all rock up at the same pub on the same day.

i'll try, but christmas time in retail means that weekends pretty much don't exist (even when you don't directly work in a store, but support the stores from Head Office)

i'll see how i go getting some time off, but at best it'll be for a counter meal and a couple of hours watch australia molest the kiwis in full public view! :D

OK ST let's put it down to the fact I over organised it. Really though who cares. I too do the same as you but just thought being on a forum I should get a formal post going being calling on the day is not an option. ;) :thumbsu:

Appreciate that at least someone is trying to organise a get together for a few beers AC9 :thumbsu: I'd be at the Hilton but unfortuantely I have an important 21st in the hills saturday night and will be crashing up there so next to no chance that I'll get back in time with hangover & travel etc.

ST, have a little respect! No need to play this 'meeting up with people over the net isn't cool' game because you've already met everyone from Bay 114!

Well said.

AC9 has over organised things as he tends to do, but as you said, he is the one doing the work after people expressed an interest.

Im not sure how you are meant to organise a met up of people from an internet forum without posting specific details.

M8 I have only spoken to you once. Question for ST and you, what else have I organised or more accurately over organised and to what level. Is there a guide or something  Maybe next time I will study just how much organising is too much. Geez didn't know you needed a degree. What's next am I going to be graded? :thumbsd:

Why have I organised and why to the level I have. I was on the phone to David the other week about my membership and he mentioned that we need to get a move along with the tickets for the club. I stood up and organised it. Maybe I should tell David and the Club that they have over organised this and the applications are too professional and just chill out   Geez all I want to do is make the Gun Club work so I organised the tickets. It is now in full motion and rocking along...:thumbsu:

Then I thought maybe we should get together and have a drink. Me and my mates who never organise shit had been thinking about Karting for about year so this was a good opportunity. Then I thought of the Hilton as a meet after some discussion on another thread. Now someone mentioned I should book coz it gets packed and is not so big so I did. They have these rocking 3 litre tower tubes full of ice beer and I thought that would be cool. Had one there the other week. I made it a formal thread because for a Sunday countery you need to book for numbers if you want the beer garden. So yes good idea. So I booked. This requires more than your standard post 'SEE YOU AT THE PUB' Now I get told I over organise shit.

Anyone else wanna stand up or anyone else think they can organise better then that's fine by me. Just do it or stop your whining. :thumbsd:

There's no such thing as over-organsing. All you've done is organised a get together with the people you'll be seeing at Crows matches every game next year. No problem with that.

The only people who have a problem with "over organising" are generally the lazy, dis-organised bums with no jobs.

Talk about going overboard.

Its a joke mate, breathe deep. You dont need to justify it. I woulda just had a go at my obvious slackness, and inability to be on time for anything.

I never had a go at the organising of the bay 142 thing, dont try and connect the two. I gave you props for it before, and appreciate it now. Still, dont try and patronize me. You know damn well i put a hell of alot of work into organising this thing this year, and its wrong to suggest ive been unwilling to put my hand up.

mate, I wasnt having a go at you, my aim was to actually defend you as I think you were coping a raw deal. So I am sorry if I didnt phrase it well enough.

I do believe you have a penchant for over organising things, not so much this specific example because as I said earlier something like this needs to be organized. I was more talking about general bay 114 things. As you said, this year with bay 114/142 it has required more organising so I applaud you for taking it by the balls, I just felt last year in particular you had a tendency to over organise things when it wasnt really required.

I wont be attending this meet up, to be honest they are not really my thing but I think what you have done is great and I hope it gets supported by the people who said initially they were interested.

ST, I know you have put heaps into this along with Gets and others! I don't think I suggested you hadn't been willing too. I was given the opportunity and now have run with. So beside you seeing the funny side to it I took offence to saying I had organised it.

All is good. I am looking forward to having a drink and a laugh about it. ;)

sometimes, but sometimes it just makes things more complicated. Sometimes its easier just to rock up and go with the flow.

I am more talking about bay 114 when there was this massive push to have specific chants at specific times etc etc I was just getting annoyed at how things were not being simplified.
