View Full Version : How to watch games in Perth from Victoria?
Hey All
My quest to get Foxtel installed in my apartment is leading me absolutely nowhere (after 4 months of trying and dealing with exacerbating Body Corporates).
Does anyone know whether it's possible to receive Perth commercial TV feeds without a satellite dish? If not, what do you other Victorian WCE supporters do (without going to a pub or going to a mate's with Foxtel)?
Cheers,

To the best of my knowledge, you need Foxtel or an unlocked satellite receiver, there are no other options.
Go to the Captains Bar at Telstra Dome.
Watch the game with a bunch of other Eagles fans and have a few beers.
Have to be a member though IIRC.

If you've got decent broadband then buy a Slingbox and set it up at a friend/relatives place in Perth that has the same.
Then you can watch any game (or Perth broadcast) via the net.
All good ideas :)v
Thanks, much to think about.

I'd suggest a Michael Keaton style flip out at the body corporate

Haha don't worry that's been done. I will probably get it sorted just in time for the footy season to start =)

My friends who don't have foxtel just go down to the local pub to watch the games.
There's tons of eagles supporters that hit the local pubs every time there's a game in perth... Find one near you that's showing the game and there'll nearly always be some fellow fans.
