Thought a while back the only way he'd consider coaching outside Vic was for a new club in a new area...

I think I could handle seeing the great man coach a club that is new and he has therefore never coached us against them. It wouldn't feel like he was taking up with the "enemy".

He would be great for a side up there but if the new side was to start in 2010, would he still be upto coaching, he would be 61.

If Bobby Robson was still managing Newcastle when he was 70-71 then I'm sure Sheeds could coach at 61

In another article today he reckons they should get the first 10 picks in the draft and have NO salary cap.

Well if he is to coach the side im surprised he didnt' suggest they take the top 40 picks...

He would be great for the game on the Gold Coast. Seeing what he has done with game around the rest of Australia there is no doubt he would have the same effect.

and my other hero is merve neagle who is coaching our local team!

As a Gold Coaster and soon to be member of our new team, i would be so proud to have a legend such as Sheeds coach us in our first years.
Also add to that maybe Voss as Assistant Coach.
We'd be a powerhouse!!

I can't wait...... Bring on 2010.....
