As needed, my site may be changing for the better.
It may now be seen as a historical site for all leagues.
I am now into collecting scores from today and yesteryear from
AFL/VFL
South AUstralian National Football League
South Australian Amatuer Football League
Any junior leagues within Metro Adelaide
Country may come later..............
Can anyone help me.
I am also getting into the mode of finding out information on history about clubs..
eg. club colours, guernsey, club song, grounds, histories etc etc.
Can anyone help me?

Hi There
I can help - But only with the North Adelaide FC as I am on their History Committee...
Here's a little bit:
The N.A.F.C was formed in 1893 but prior to that we were represented and known as Medindies "Dingoes", Our colours are red & white (we have recently changed from red & white stripes to our original guernsey which is red with a big white V) and our club mascot is The Mighty Rooster - known as Rocket Rooster....
North is known for some of the greatest players that have every played the game ie
Ken Farmer who played from 1929 - 41 as our full forward, and you can obtain any information about this great man from the recently published "Farmer Files" which can be purchase from the NAFC for $40.00.
Ken kicked a total of 1,419 career goals from 1929 - 1941 and has played 224 games, and in 1936 he kicked 134 goals and if I am right???? he is still our leading goal kicker today!!!
Then there is Don Gilbourne, Don Linder, Barrie Barbary, Barrie Robran (who is seen around NAFC as the clubs' Marketing Manager) and is often refered to as been the greatest player to ever play the game.
Then there is Mike Patterson (who we lost recently this year) at the age of 61....For a wonderful tribute to this great man just go to Wedgie's website The Roost! at http://www.rocketrooster.com/ (http://) to the tribute page, we are responsible for so many more great footballers, I couldn't possibly list them all, just one more I have to name and that is Grenville Dietrich - the only man I know who can kick a goal with a beer in one hand and a footy pie in the other...he he ;)
The NAFC first seven Magarey Medallists...
Phil Sandland - 1901
Tommy MacKenzie - 1905-6
Harold Hawke - 1937
Jeff Pash - 1939
Ron Phillips - 1948-9
Ian McKay - 1950
Barrie Barbary - 1960
The roosters are also known for having won 13 premierships as follows: 1900, 1902, 1905, 1920, 1930, 1931, 1949, 1952, 1960 , 1971, 1972, 1987 and 1991 And we were Champions of Australia in 1972 (The Year I was Born!!!)
In regards to out club song we have a number of different verisons my favourite was done by by Johnny Mac and the City of Enfield Band and is on a 7" Vinyl, we currently have been flogging the new CD verison by the Enfield Brass Band (which is ****) but the words are the same:
It's a Great Great Club
And the Club We Love
We're the Good old Red and Whites
The Mighty Roosters we're called
All for One, One for all
If we're down we Fight Fight Fight
We like to Play as a Team
And we Play it Clean
We're Never out of Sight
Be it Wet be it Dry
We Try Try Try
We're the Good old Red and Whites
If there is anything further, let me know. But Wedgie, Hollypig, Fish can probably give you more information especially a little history on the North Adelaide Grog Squad.
I don't know much about the History of Prospect oval but some one might do....
Despite what my fellow North supporters think, I believe that we will probably win our 14th Premiership in 2005..
Shalom
