Harvey has probably had the better "career" but having said that...I would still take Hird ahead of him every day of the week.

I would say the two time premiership player. And i would also say that the other bloke would swap with him in a heartbeat, so i guess Hird has had the better career.
Who has won more awards - Harvey
Who is the better footballer - Hird

Saw this being debated a couple days ago.

Why does Hird having one medal which Harvey doesn't have make him the better player. Hird didn't win a premiership by himself...

Will you guys change your mind if the saints won the flag this year, hope they do just to see what you think then. :P

You asked which player has had the better career. It stands to reason that the goal of a player is to win Premierships, Hird has done that twice in his career, so, Hird has had the better career.

Very similair.

Hird just. The premierships get him over the line.

The premierships don't make him a better player, but they make his career better. Hird had the better career.

And who was the better player? Hird.

I voted Harvey, because he is a running machine & Hird missed so many games through injury

Hird easily. Ask Malcolm Blight, he didn't bother tagging Harvey because he believed that he got a fair bit of possesion backward of centre and that he wasn't damaging with the ones he got.
