Officially and apparently will be your only "big" sponsor instead of 2 like most clubs have so must be paying a premium.

3 year deal.

Someone stuffed up the links on the saints site

all the menu links have the JELD-WEN website address appended to them.

So i'd say they are confirmed as the sponsor

Sounds about right if they want to be the lone major sponsor.

$2 million pa will be a drop in the ocean for Jeld-Wen. Revenues over US$2+ billion. Private coy that sponsors heaps of golf in the US.

Yeah, I'm not too sure where 2mil a year stands with everyone else. Is it a lot, or average? I heard other clubs were getting something like 1.5mil a year so I'm assuming it's heaps.

As big as Jeld-Wen are, they don't seem to be very big in Oz, I mean I think they sponsored a v8 team this season or last, but thats about as far as my knowledge of them goes. :p

Given they seem to want full branding (not sure whether we can have a separate shorts sponsor), $2m per year is about right.

It's been very hard to find financial information on Jeld-Wen, as it's a private company. However, they do operate in about 15 countries, and the Stegbar and Regency Showerscreen brands will be familiar to alot of people. They also run about 10 resorts.

To sponsor the TPC golf (the fifth major) you need serious $$$'s, so I don't think there's any issue with taking the sponsorship in full confidence.

Well done to the FF team, and a few critics should now jump on the bandwagon. Some good signs with the football department, the move to Frankston seems positive, the recruiting of King & Schneider, and now the sponsorship locked in.

He's in a bit of form, the "BrianSpeaking", so I'll remain confident until he lips one out from 1m on the 18th.

Dunno how we could generate $1m without offering jumper sponsorship, but I've been pleased with FF and we live in hope. Maybe Aaron will donate a chunk of cash back from his contract.

Expecting the announcement in the next 4 weeks , perhaps just before the pre season cup. The marketing lads are almost signed off, great for the once debt ridden club. Had a look through Frankston OVal yeaterday, what an unbelievable location. I would think Nick and some of the lads would be living around Daveys Bay or Olivers Hill in the future.

If Jeld Wen requested to be a sole major sponsor, how can this happen? Another sponsorship deal worth one million a season seems like another major sponsorship deal.

After the amount of correct calls BrianSpeaking has made lately, I'm willing to believe everything he says...

"Brian told me, Brian told me, Brian told me so... I know everything I need to know, 'cos Brian told me so...!"

Know nothing about Jeld Wen but I'm sure a lot of people soon will and the possibility of a high paying sponsorship with the possibility of another $1 sponsor has the new board ticking all the right boxes..

It's only up from here guys.. get used to it.

why would we bother with a 1$ sponsor that wouldn't be enough to get them through the gates at Telstradome:D
