yep - I'm going to make a greater effort to get to more SANFL games next year.

Even though I hate losing......it almost seems like there's a higher agenda next year

So anyway I was struck by a thought, and maybe the Player Watch Board will cover this...

But I am planning anywhere between 12-15 Sturt games next year ( maybe more) and instead of focusing on one particular player I was thinking of giving general reports on all listed players.

Drummond gave excellent reports on the Norwood players last year , and while admittedly biased, he was closer than most at those Norwood games.

I guess the secret is to give reports in the context of how the team is performing and not stat based

Thoughts or shut up?:o

I think this is a pretty good idea in principle.

We wouldn't want to double up with the Player Watch Board - but it would be nice to get SANFL player reports that are in context with the team's performance. If player X gets 2 possessions at full forward because his side kicked 3 goals in a 200 point hiding - it's a lot less concerning than getting 2 possys if your side wins by 200 points.

I think player reports need to be tempered by team performance.

People should just post their thoughts in the SANFL thread that Drummond usually makes each week.
