Just a little different to the 3 best players thread ...Here there are no wrong or right answers ..just list your favourite 3 Carlton players over the years .
Mine are :
Wayne (Hurricane) Harmes ...I absolutely loved the way this bloke played the game ...a no nonsense little tough nut ..who took screamers over much taller oponents ..he had a booming kick (actually won the "Sun Kick " a contest for the longest kick in the game ) He was the grandson of Norm Smith ..and i believe he was the first recipient of the Norm Smith medal .
Bruce Doull : Rarely beaten (except by a young Kernahan ...but thats another story) hardly spoke a word on or off the ground ....but get him riled up and watch out ! Just ask Jim Jess :D
Greg (Deisel) Williams : One of the best centre men to ever play the game ..you don't need pace when you can read the play like this bloke ..he was deadly by hand..often you would have to look twice to see who had extracted the handball to a player 30 metres in the clear from under a pack of players . crucified by the umpiring fraternity because of his outspoken ways .
Those are my 3 favourites ..but i would like to give a special mentions to Rhys Jones , SOS , Bosusto , and Sticks .
Setanta O'hAilpin - The first time i saw him play i knew he was gonna be huge. The ferocity he plays with is rare. He may not have the best skills but he is the best team player of the game i think.
Glen Manton - Same as above, not the greatest skills but gave his best week in week out. Plus he was my sports teacher.
Bret Thornton - People may think oh god Thornton what a hack, but i salute him. He has been given a job every week that he shouldn't be doing. Holding down full back is a tough job especially when we drafted him as a running backman not a KPP.
These 3 aren't the greatest players but definitely my favourite

Hmmm....havent posted for a while, now i have to remember how to do this...
Kouta - Absolute champion of the club, he would give up (almost) anything for the club, just a great role model to all out there.
Can i say Judd? - Brownlow winner, premiership captain, perfect role model.
Craig Bradley - Gave his all for the club, an exiting player to watch (even at 34) and help all those around him.

Eddie Betts: I just can't hate him. I've stated many times that I own a bear in dedication to Eddie, a little carlton bear with an Eddie badge on the front and the 19 sewed on the back:) I'll be taking him to the meet this Saturday aswell:D
Setanta O'hAilpin: Needless to say that I love anyone who loves the club, and Setanta exceeds that by and irish mile.
Andrew Carrazzo: Just a very excitintg player, lvoe to see him move along the park like a Brownlow winner. I truely, truely beleive he will be a big part of the rebuilding phase.

My votes are:
1 vote... M Murphy (there's a lot of Michael Voss about this kid)
2 votes... G Williams
3 votes... C Bradley
Bradles is my favourite due to his consistency, longevity, work rate... all this goes along with some of the greatest foot skills the game has ever seen.

Always looked forward to watching these guys as a kid!
Wayne Johnstone. Best finals player, best midfield pack buster.
Alex Jesaulenko. Best player I have ever seen. Ignited my love for Carlton and Aussie Rules.
Stephen Silvagni. Loved the way he went about things.
Special mention to Rhys-Jones and Doull.
Loved Bosustow, and Jimmy Buckley too.
Fraser Brown and Greg Wiliams for the toughest midfield duo ever.

1. Bosustow - He came, he saw, he conquered. The reason I started following the Blues (will be MC-ing my wedding in March woo hoo!)
2. Williams - The best midfielder/centreman I have seen play the game.
3. SOS - The reason we didn't really have to worry about; Lockett, Dunstall and Ablett for 10+ years.
Unlucky; The Rhino (O'Sullivan), Rohan Welsh, Ron De Iulio, Adrian Whitehead, Juddy, Stevo, The Cranium and Fraser Brown.

Hickmott 2. Bradley 3. Fevola (playing with good attitude) Currently playing Would be Fisher, O'hailpin and Fev and Murphy
Waite - always has a crack, loves the club and from what i've seen is a really great bloke off the field (met him a few times)
Fevola - when he's on he's so exciting to watch and there is alot more to come.
Eddie betts - might be inconsistent but if he's within 20 metres of the ball he's a chance.
