Am I the only one who rates this bloke?

Has a pretty straight kick (was unlucky to get so many posters), is very mobile and looks like he has a good pair of hands too. Lets not forget he is 196cm!

I know everyone is getting excited about Kennedy and Brown, but they will have to show to some excellent WAFL form to get picked before Cones IMO.

Watch out for him in 2008. :thumbsu:

How can you NOT like Cones?
He was pretty damn unlucky not to get a few more goals this year.
If Hansen or The Big Q get struck down, expect Cones to come in and kick some ass.

Nar im with ya QL. He could of freaked it in the 4 games he played this year if he didnt hit the post. He kicked 3 goals 7 but out of those 7 behinds i reckon he would of hit like post 4-5. This guy could really step out of the shadows in 08.

Yes.

Wont make the grade consistently in my eyes.

Watching him get beaten by Freo rookie listed player Darren Rumble in the WAFL grand final did nothing to alleviate my fears.

Cones is a handy player to have on the list to cover for injury to Lynch or Hansen whilst Kennedy, Brown and Notte develop, but that is about it.

I don't see much room for improvement in him, and as much as I hope he does well if he gets a chance, I hope his games are limited as they'll only come due to injury to better players.
