Why is that in the Essendon board?
Shouldn't it be in the Basketball board?

Before you ask why I'm in the Essendon board, the name Miami Heat jumped out at me.

Well this thread is in a sub-forum to the Essendon main Forum, this sub-forum you can pretty much do whatever you want, so I just wanted to know if there were any miami heat fans at Essendon.

Are you a fan?

Huh. by the way the heat are going now, we won't even make top 20 for the league.

We're lost without Posey and Kapono, can't believe we let them go.

If the heat do sh1ter than T'wolves at the end of the year, i'm going back to supporting the Lakers again. I used to be a lakers fan, but then started to support the heat because Shaq got traded there, and Wade was said to be the next big thing when he was drafted and has made out to be exactly that.

aahhh, the good old days when the heat won the championship and were invinsible.

That was the time when I started supporting miami aswell. Cant say I could ever support the lakers again, dont like kobe bryant at all. Lakers not the same since johnson, worthy, kareem days.

Cant believe that miami ever got smush parker, he stinks it up big time and with hardaway coming aswell didnt need him. Thought we would have a tough season this year with the change to the roster but still expected play offs.

With Wade injured and missing a large chunk and shaq obviously carrying some injury (he cant get of the ground anymore) we look like finishing real close to the bottom for our conference.

Since we cant win it want spurs to be there.

Just an update.

Wade is sorta coming back to form now, Shaq is frustrated and has almost lost it, Ricky Davis is doing good, J.Williams is doing alright but can do better, D.Cook is just a gun, Zo is just a champion and the rest are just doing Sh1t.

By the way we waived Penny Hardaway, and signed Luke Jackson (drafted no.10 by Cavaliers in 2005 but then was waived by them).

Won today, came from behind. Wade got few points but poor %.

The Minnasotta game was terrible, we should have thrashed them. Minnasotta are 3 for 20 and are on a 5 game lossing streak, gosh we should do better. On the other hand Wade is a gun but has to get more shots in, he got most his points from FT today with like 20 out of 22.

Another good thing is that the heat has one of the best Defences in the game right now, Averaging around 7 blocks a game and got 11 today.

Zo is an absolute Superstar, 10 points, 10 Rebounds, 3 blocks, all in 18 minutes.....

Shaq did alright, 15 points, 8 Rebounds, 3 blocks and 1 assist in 29 minutes......

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our whole season right now is either going to be a huge comeback or just the start of a rebuilding faze.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also good news if we do crap, our first round pick that we traded is conditional which means if we finnish like bottom 5 or bottom 15 (I don't which), then we then get our first round pick back from the T'wolves.....

Yesterday against the Hawkes, Zo had ripped the patella off his knee and has pretty much declared that his career is over, he's not sure if it is the end but he's 39 and has to go through 3 months of resusatation before he can play again.

By the way, the heat lost to the hawkes '111 to 117' in over time.

I was a fan but everyone at my school jumped on and I left the bandwagon after doing a few sim leagues with Portland early last year. Sim leagues are awesome. I started with one of the worst sides going around, getting duded in the team lottery with Portland and by season 2009 i won the championship.

Still love to watch the Heat play. Wade is electric. His driving ability is insane, and Zo will always be a favourite of mine for his blocking ability. I'll always be a fan even if im not really supporting them. Wade is coming back strong.

Wade is just about our offence at the moment with a 33 points average from the last five games. Then Haslem comes next for our top scoring I think.... he averages around 15??

If things stay like this and wade doesn't get any support what so ever from his teamates, then he's gonna crash and burn with this sort of pressure been the heats only offence.

Hopefully we can pick up O.J Mayo at the end of the year in the draft, and also hope that the Lottery favours us so that we get the top pick.

That all depends though if the heat do sh1t from now on.

yey.... We beat the Jazz today 104-102.....

Dwyane Wade got the buzzer beater with 0.1 seconds to go to win!!!!!!

He scored 20 for the game.

We lost to the Cavaliers on christmas day (or our boxing day) this morning.

We had the lead through to the 2nd and 3rd quarters but shaq got taken off because of foul trouble, and then gibson got 3 three's in a row and they just took over after that lucky break.

To be honest, overall it was a good game by the heat all up to the end of the third quarter, but the last quarter was just discraceful.

Hopefully this Mike Miller trade goes through, so we can get some decent outside range shooting and more points to get us over the line. Our defence is doing great though, one of the best in the nba right now.

i am pretty sure you dont get the pick back

it just means its protected which means that we dont get you pick if its

in the top 15 this yr

10 next yr

5 in 2010

then after that we get it no matter what

Celtics, Spurs, Cavs and even the Nuggets are better than Miami

Boston have the best list, Spurs are the best "team" lead by the most important player in hte comp....the Nuggets will come good towards season end with their list and the Cavs will remain the wildcard...LeBron is a freak....

Boston only has Kevin Garnett, Paul Pearce and Ray Allen - the rest of their list are just to fill in the empty roster spaces. No doubt they're a great team but what does it come down to if say KG and Ray Allen somehow get long term injuries in the season and boston is just left with Paul Pearce.

All boston needs now is an insurance policy. They need a back up bigman.

---------------------------------------

Also, heat lost to the magic in overtime yesterday, Wade top scored with 48 points, without Shaq or Williams or Quinn. Wade played PG.

And Also, heat lost to the Wizards today, it was about 96 to 74, Wade was worn out from the night before and only played 28 minutes, Ricky Davis top scored with 22 points.

The worst the heat can do is miss the playoffs, they're just got a too good of a playing list to finnish bottom 10 of the league.

Once Shaq and Williams have recovered from their injuries (which they almost have), they will start winning again and hopefully can get on a big winning streak soon enough, unless of coarse Pat Riley has plans to tank for the rest of the year.
