Official Sportsbet odds are 1.08, Wallet and the Albino seem to have a firm grip on Footy's biggest Disgrace. Its very hard to believe in this day and age that 2 absolute Clowns could be paid a Fortune to make themselves look stupid:thumbsu: Good to watch though!

Since bookies are all knowing beings, be aware that since you give the bombers just about no chance to make the finals, they are still 3 times more likely to do so than the Hawks are of breaking their drought.

You mustnt have been very good at maths. Hawthorn only have a 6.25% chance of winning that bet. Essendon have a 50% chance of winning their bet. That means Hawthorns odds should have to be 8 times greater than Essendon's odds and guess what they aren't :D :D :D

No shit Archimedes. Essendon's odds don't look that great, why would they when they are like 15th favourite to win the flag.
The fact remains, that everyone is saying we'll win the spoon, definite bottom 4, etc. So the odds of us making the 8 must REALLY suck, well they are over 3 times better than the odds are of the Hawks winning the flag. So hang shit on Essendon not making the 8, still way more likely than any particular team lifting up the cup.

So Hawthorn have a 1 in 16 chance of winning the grand final? You are suggesting that every club has EXACTLY the same chance. They don't! Some teams are better than others. Much better. Do Geelong have the same chance of winning the premiership as Carlton? The very suggestion of it is stupid.
As for Essendong having a 50/50 chance of making the finals - what do you base this on? That half the competition will be finalists and half won't? That implies that West Coast are the same chance at making the finals as Richmond - it's just a really stupid, naive way of looking at things
