numbers
2- jayden allen/ben mcevoy someone who will bea around for a while
4- i think that number 4 being our best guenesy to wear because of balldock and lockett it should be our captains guernsey and i think our captain should be ball and retire his guernset until he loses captaincy. i say ball because he will most likely get over his surgery because we have a better doctor and had a good surgon. and he is only 23 and he will be around for a long time and clearly would be a great captain also lenny would be aswell,
5- sam fisher. because he is young and in recent times one of our great aussies jones wore it and ian stewart would like to see sammy wear it he deserves a good number. plus aussie was a backman keep it the back line
p.s i was bored so i wrote this thread

Dempster with 4?
#4's got a proud history at St Kilda, I think we should hold off on handing it out until we find someone who is definitely worthy (maybe if someone like Armitage has a great year)

I would love to see 4 go to Attard, even though he hasn't been there long he really seems the sort of guy that would give up a hell of a lot of blood, sweat and tears for the club...

Anyone know when the jumper presentation is?
Schneider for 13 looks a monty.
The big boys have tended to get high 20's (28 : Ackland, Clarke, 29 : Rix, 27 : Blake) but have a feeling King will get a low one instead of Clarke's 28.

Jumpers have histories - try No 4 for example!!!
It is always interesting whether there will be any changes with exisitng players - such as Kosi swapping for Loewe's.
There was a thought that Sam Fisher might take 5 and Gilbert 4. I always like it when they stick with what they've got and make some history of their own. There's not that much in either guernsey (apologies to Daryl Griffiths and Allan Davis!).
You've also got to factor in that the other big news story at the minute (outside some bloody great news from the Saints) is whether Andy D farted at breakfast in a public place. "Whispers in the Sky"?
