I'm not sure anyone has picked up on this one, but Mo Matthews is still ready and able for NSW selection, and considers himself the second best spinner in NSW.

I say **** NSW Mo, Boxing Day is ready for you.

Nahh he said on radio that he doesn't do batting anymore. Bats at 11 and runs away from the ball.

Sounds stupid, but i bet its not far from the truth. He was a gun bowler in his day, and off spinners just get smarter and smarter as they age.

Is he still looking reasonably fit?

Mo is always serious. Turned 48 a few days ago. Unfortunately the powers that be have always ****ed Mo over.
