I just saw Brad Hogg walking down the mall in Hobart and noticed how bloody short he was (he's listed as 183cm but I think he must have been wearing stilettos).
Anyhow, that got me thinking, let's see if we can list the top 11 tallest and fattest current Australian cricketers (inc. domestic players). While we are at it we might as well go for the shortest and slimest players. Give me some stats and I will list them here in this post.

Do others think that some of the heights on the official Aussie site are inflated? Punter for example is listed at 178.

I'm sure some are inflated (deflated if there fat), but I reckon Punter wouldn't be far off 178cm.

How could you leave Warney out of the fat XI?
I mean at his peak he would have walked into a world fat XI. A lot of guys you have in there weigh a fair bit because they're so tall.

just thought i might put into context how unfat these people are...
BMI levels....
Brett Dorey = 23.8 = healthy
Stuart Clark = 25 = healthy
Nick Jewell = 26.3 = according to BMI levels is just overweight but remember muscle ways more then fat..
Allan Wise = 25.8 = same as above
Adam Griffith = 26.8 = still not fat
John Hastings = 26 = mucles again...
Here's a fatty
Cosgrove = stat may vary, i did two...one metric and one standard.....averaged it out to 29.8 or almost 30 ==== which means he is obese......

Sorry all for the confusion.
I should have titled the team the 'Heavy XI' and have now amended that.
For those who were wondering I got most of the measurements from the state-based websites. They are obviously not guaranteed to be correct but act as an indication.
Maybe we could work out a Fat XI by using their BMI (bugger if I know how to work that out) or we could simply divide their weight by their height, and the higher the score the fatter they are.
Any ideas?

He's actually quite slender only racking up 82kg/178cm= 0.461

I've know changed the 'Skinny XI' to the 'Small XI' and included a new 'Skinny XI' calculated the same way as the 'Fat XI'.
By the way, I haven't looked at every player, just those I thought would fit one or more categories. If yu can find any others who should represent one of the XI's, the let us know.

Hodge is also down for 178 and I've stood next to him so I'll add about 4 inches on to my height.
