can anyone recommend any good places in Melbourne for New Years eve??

We're not doing much, will probably be at home with a bunch of people coming over. Staying up late... the usual!!:)

City and watch fire works at the yarra with mates, what i do every year if im not aat the beach house or working new years day in the mornin:mad:

Watch the fireworks from Quarry Hills in South Morang - the highest point in Metro Melb. And no traffic snarls. Then you can go over to Sophia's (Old Commercial Hotel) and break a footballer's jaw as he comes out clutching a pizza. But better not....

Sitting at a mate's winery down near Drysdale with a few frothies looking over the entire bay and the fireworks from Melbourne and Geelong :thumbsu::thumbsu:
