O.K. Peeps,

the thread title speaks for itself really. If you didn't catch Kyle's last performance for Elite XC shame on you...but hears your chance for redemption!!

He will be fighting Scott "Hands Of Stone" Smith in what should be a pretty entertaining bout. You may remember Scott from one of the all time best highlight reel K.O. victories over Pete "Drago" Sell. Scott is no push over at this level and I was impressed with Kyle's last fight so I eagerly await this bout.

Here is the Drago Knockout. I wish the clip showed the minute or so leading up to this cos Scott was on the verge of losing. He gets crippled by the Drago bodyshot then unleashes the Hands of Steel!!!

On top of this we get the freakshow slugfest that is Kimbo Slice VS Tank Abbott. We will also be treated to Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva and Pride/Cagerage veteren James "The Colossus" Thompson (in separate bouts). Antonio is making big inroads to his MMA career and I feel big things are in store for him in the future.

Did I mention Gino Carano is on the bout as well? Now thats one triangle choke I wouldn't mind going to sleep in!!

Feb 16 and counting baby, ohh yeah.

Kimbo Slice vs Tank Abbott
Antonio Silva vs Ricco Rodriguez
James Thompson vs Brett Rogers
Kyle Noke vs Scott Smith

Gina Carano's off the show :(

Kimbo and Tank won't make it out of the first round, either Tank lands a big shot early or, more likely, he gasses two minutes into the fight and then gets dropped. Thompson and Rogers will probably be the same, though I've never heard of Rogers. Hope Noke wins his fight but I'm leaning towards Smith.

Ricco's really let himself go in the last couple of years and had problems with drug addiction but he should still be a good test to see where Silva is.

By the way, Ken Shamrock's fighting in England next month for Cage Rage (who are owned by ProElite now) with the idea of setting up a fight against Frank early next year. Frank is fighting Cung Le in March in another EliteXC/Strikeforce show.

Isnt Ricco a super heavy now? Last time I saw him fight he had eaten wayyyyy to many pies (and people). Kimbo vs Tank.....this better end quick, for everyones sakes. James Thompson - whatever.

Will check it out only for Noke, so you better not disappoint me :p

And hopefully both Shamrocks fall into a black hole during their fight (if it ever happens)

Ricco is down to the 265 limit again. Silva should tool him though.

Hope Kyle does well, if he does it would put him up in the title picture with teh likes of Ninja,Villasenor(trains with him though),Fukuda and the champ Lawler. Theres also alot of other good MW guys out there not in the UFC.

Kyle was doing well, easily won the first round until 'hands of steel' got one through at the start of the second and it was all over. Plenty of things to like though, and Scott Smith is a fairly experienced camaigner. Bad luck to Noke, but he'll be back!

That was a brutal KO, made even worse by Smith getting another big shot in before the ref could jump in there. Probably even more brutal than Edwards's knee KO on Berto.

If I was a masochist Thompson would be my favourite fighter, he either wins or loses in spectacular style. As it is I think he should just give it up before he gets brain-addled.

Tank/Kimbo went how most predicted, only Tank blew up about 30 seconds in instead of a minute. Bigfoot/Ricco was a solid fight, Silva's mobility seemed hampered by his torn MCL but he did enough to earn the decision. His cardio was pretty impressive too.

Edwards knee was freaking awesome. Best KO I've seen in a while.

Edwards knee was freaking awesome. Best KO I've seen in a while.

You could almost here his brain ticking over as he was contemplating that knee. Having seen a lot of Edwards fights I knew he was going to go for it and man did he land it....he looked sharp tonight.

All in all there is a lot to like about elitexc/strikeforce/cagerage.

The follow up punch by Smith was very late, pissed me off a bit.
