Hey everyone,

I posted this on another forum but thought someone from here might be able to help

I was on the news on the 1st of January in there New years eve segment

If anyone from WA saw me I was the idiot dancing out the front of the Cottesloe beach hotel in the orange shirt when they said "and some people went to far"

Having no memory of the event and after receiving 1000's of calls and messages from people saying how funny/stupid i looked i was thinking i wouldnt mind having a look for myself

It was channel 7 news at 6pm on the 1st of Jan

Anyone know how I can get a copy of the news segment? Do I just ring them?

They keep it all on file so your idiotic dancing will be on tape forever. Just ring them and ask if they can make a copy. Normally they charge a fair bit (like 60 bucks sometimes) for it

Someone on a site like AussieTorrents might have taped it (if you're lucky, but that's a slim chance).

You'd probably have to ring them though - I once tried to contact Channel 9 by email to find out a song they played on the cricket and they didn't give out any address (instead they had a discussion board which they obviously never checked, that's really good customer service from them )

Good luck finding the footage mate, be sure to YouTube it if you do.

BTW Embers - $60? Ridiculous. I'd ask em if I could come into the studio and burn a copy onto DVD myself - it can't be that hard to find the footage if they have everything well organised like they should.

It'll be awesome if your ever wanted for a crime.

"And the car was believed to be stolen by this man"

***Cue file tape of idiot dancing out the front of the Cottesloe beach hotel in the orange shirt.

"If you have any information on this mans where-abouts please call crime stoppers."

Can all those of my generation and earlier join me in a silent prayer thanking whatever almighty power saved the development of camera phone technology until after my twenties *phew*
