Just in case anyone was wondering I have not posted any news related to Chris Dawes as no new info, other than that available through Collingwood Footy Club's site, is around.
I have started a web-site, the url of I will post as soon as it is finalised, so I can post content not available on these forums and because it provides a better "space" for what I hope will be a successfull career for Chris at Collingwood.
As soon as possible I will post the site address.

So much is being said about this young player, from other posters reviews and opinions on him i have now got genuine excitment about how i think he will play for Collingwood. I am also interested to see the site....:D

I am really hoping like the Bejeezuz he gets some quality game time as otherwise I am gonna have one "dull" website.
I made a bit of a rod for my own back selecting him as there is very litle info on him and apart from a few games with Willy not much form.
Hopefully I amgetting on a good thing early.
The main reason for a web site is I can add "flash" animations etc. which can't be posted on BigFooty.
Fingers crossed...lets have some game time.

General consensus is you are on a good thing. At a minimum you'll have a pretty sought after site even just to get all updates on his VFL form, this is a seriously highly rated kid. I wouldn't bet on too much first team action but if your able to take clips off ABC & get some highlight packages on your site you'll have many happy Pies supporters thanking you.

Saw Dawes for the first time yesterday, but didn't know who he was. I noticed him because he kept whacking in the goals from a fair distance, and with power to spare. Thought it was just me - easily impressed - but there's a paragraph about him in Age Sport today - saying he's going to be very valuable. :thumbsu:Let us know when your site opens.

Where abouts in the Age I've looked through the sport at least 3 times can't find anything about him.
In fact I can't see anything about AFL in there.

Or was it the Herald? Sorry, read both at same time. Probably on inside back cover, or close thereto. It was nearer the top of the page, fairly central.

In case you missed my suggestion elsewhere, Pie eyed, your thread/website has got to be called something like, Dawesome, or Dawestruck. It's a good name to play with.

Hey Pie Eyed, did you manage to get the website going? If Dawes gets a game I'm not sure I'd recognise him from the one photo on the C'wood site.
