Thanks for the info Micky, it would be good if you could keep us updated throughout the year and maybe add in how a few other ex-locals are going, Simon McCormick, Ben Hollands, Heath Younie.

Was easy to see Younie has played what 2 years at SANFL level.
Mackie sustained a head injury early on but he did battle on and like the EAGLEs by the last quarter was showing some very good signs .He still needs a lot of improving but he did show something .

how has he gone in the last couple of weeks

He was named in last weeks side but was dropped to the seconds where he was third in the best players behind Passador (former farmer medalist who kicked nine) and Groecke .In my opininon he should not have been dropped .We all thought an afl plyer was coming in but wasn't to be.
Picked this week again so hopefully he will get a game he is a class above the seconds IMHO.

One of the $hitter blokes ever to set foot on a footy field. And definitely isn't a 'beta bloke' 2 go with it, acts like a tosser off the field, even beat up his neighbour not long before he moved to SA. Good riddance, SA can keep him!

he is a top bloke Sanigav if you had some better facts you would know this
fact 1 he is back from SA
fact 2 it wasn't his neighbour it was his cousin
all said though he can play footy and remember "Aggression = Possession"

Was a pitty he had a disagreement with the Coach and spat the dummy .And went home as he could have been a good SANFL player .
Then again this does open the door for local younger players to step up .

Dont believe everything you hear and see, Honestly Sanigav and bunghammy, shut up about what you dont really know.. your both wrong bout Joel Mackie.. This site is about FOOTY!! not what he does off the field.. just to put things straight about his incident with not his neighbour nor his cousin its was a bloke who only had Joel as his only true mate that lived in his area they both were in the wrong and Joel was the one who copped it ALL (reason being he's a sad person now days)...... Start talking about the his footy or move on to some other BRILLIANT football player... ohhh and as for you mickyj, if it wasnt for wwtfc he prob woulda stayed with North, footy isnt everything to some, bit of fun needs to be had when needed thats why he's back to his original home turf, Jindera (carving up to, whether or not its a pathetic league, so what) otherwise we'd all end up like Mr Cousins......
