Huge game tonight v Qatar. We need the 3 points considering how tough the away legs will be.

My tip - Aussies 2-0, goals to McDonald and Cahill.

I reckon Australia to win 2-0. Goals from Cahill and McDonald.

Just for the record I will actually be at the game live sitting on the 3rd level of Telstra Dome.

I really should have planned ahead, because I made commitments tonight! Which means I have to tape this and the dockers straight after.

What a fool I am!

Damn I never thought about the Dockers game. Ah bugger, I'll have to tape it too.

Where the heck is Qatar?

Where the heck is Qatar?

It's one of the many oil rich gulf states.
They can play football, and showed us up a bit at the Asian Cup Finals. We have to be ruthless, and we simply must win these home games.
I think we'll win 3-1, however if we loose Pim Verbeek is going to feel the furnace....

I vote we have your Avatar on the big screen NF, that should distract them enough to bang home a couple goals before they blow there load.

What time, station?

Great Win @ 3 - 0. Shame we couldn't find the back of the net in the second half, however we we're very close to scoring on a few occasions, and the travelling may have caught up with us.
Timmy Cahill - quality :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::D
WTF was with Qatar in the first half??? Absolute rabble - they played much better against us in the Asian Cup finals....
We'll, it's only a step, but we've gotten of to a good one hopefully heading towards the World Cup Finals in RSA.
Next match, away to China - apparently in some high altitude city.
I think we'll see more A-League players for tha match.

I watched the China-Iraq game tonight, finished up 1-1 but China blew an absolute gem of a chance at the end (watch out for number 8, he has a habit for choking). Referee had no idea what he was doing either, handing out yellows on a sure red and getting the decision on penalties wrong each time.

Unfortunately, every 30 seconds there was someone diving and rolling around, so prepare to be frustrated as a spectator when we play against either side... I know I was!

On the flipside, it means Australia's now clear at the top of the group :)

A draw in Iraq v China game is a good rsult for us.

I think we'd be happy with a draw away against China so they can roll around on the ground all they like next month.

Congratulations to Craig Moore on a fantastic career. Possibly the best centre back this country has produced.

Agreed.. congrats to Craig Moore.... even if you play for those dogs Qld. Roar.....
Anyways a draw against China is acceptable, but a win would really catapult us into a great lead in the group.
