The bad thing about all threads on the Gippsland Board

I gotta say, that I dont think it is in the spirit of a Forum Website to have each thread hijacked by people who just want to have their own conversations.

On this board we have a "Chit Chat" thread.

You wanna chat.... go there.

People dont start a serious thread about Premiership Odds or Pre-season training to have some galloots jump in talking about all things other than the thread title.

Lets respect the threads people start, continue the repartee, cause that's what makes for good conversation, but keep to the thread topic.

I must say it is getting rather annoying to tune into a thread and read about who did who and who got pissed on Saturday night.

FFS lets work it out blokes.

Yeah i agree it is getting a bit hard to find where the genuine footy talk is when you have 15 threads get a shit reply. Try to keep it to the chit chat forum.

This is without a doubt the best post placed in the past 6 months! I agree entirely. I'm sick of going to a thread about West Gippy and reading a load of rubbish about Nilma, Buln Buln or some other MINOR league club.

Couldn't agree more. It should be pretty simple, if it isn't on topic then don't post it. The same goes for one line replies that add nothing to the topic, it seems there is a continual competition to have the last post in every thread possible.

One thing to remember is people should be able to come to this board and read about Gippsland football and not have to sift through a pile of unrelated posts.

If people want to chat or discuss another topic PM each other rather than clog up what should be a useful resource for anyone anywhere who want to check in on Gippsland football.
