You can just call the Richmond Game "The Loss".

The loss of any remaining dignity for Richmond's poor, long-suffering, self-devouring 'supporters'?

Sure, I'll be happy to call it 'The Loss'.

God bless Richmond.

So passionate. So shit. :thumbsu:

Geelong: "The oh no.......not again"
Hawthorn: "The They can't run that hard all night........can they?"
Melbourne: "The real chance"
Richmond: "The must win"
St Kilda: "The please oh please, I can't stand their fans thinking they are so great when they haven't won anything in colour"
Sydney: "The Why the hell can't we win at the SCG"

Meh.........I'm bored.

Maybe in honour of the "Hird-Archer medal" we should come up with a ridiculous award to give an individual player at random intervals throughout the year.

vs WCE - The Spalding-McKenna medal for the best bump
vs Tiges - The Judd-McMahon medal for the best new recruit

Your comments are understandable. Restricting your annihilation yesterday to 12 goals must give you great confidence in the upcoming season. :thumbsu:

Did you watch the game?
We dominated the first 10 minutes but didn't get on the scoreboard.

In 10 minutes of footy either side of quarter time the Hawks took advantage of Austin (1 game) and Grigg (4 games) in our backline after winning the clearances.

We then beat them for the rest of the game, including the third quarter when Gibbs beat Mitchell one on one in the centre (11 possies, 5 clearances, 5 I50).
If you are suggesting the Hawks decided to coast and took the foot off from the 10 minute mark of the 2nd quarter then you are a bigger fool than your "Club supported" would lead us to believe.......quite a feat really.

Your mob on the other hand, after a good start, were FLOGGED soundly for the remainder of the game until the last quarter when..........90 points up, the Cats started to think about round 1.

We came back to be under 6 goals away, and had Kreuzer nailed the super goal after "The Cowards" shoulder charge, would have been playing a 4th quarter 4 goals down............

You were playing a 4th quarter 15 goals down.:o

If you can't see that difference then I really feel sorry for you.

yeah, you were on fire in the first 10 minutes without scoring.

We kicked the first 2 goals vs Geelong so we must have absolutely smashed them for the first 5 minutes!

Yes I am saying the Hawks took the foot off the pedal, resting players and generally switching off mentally.

You guys were outclassed by by a clearly better team, as we were by the Cats. If you think otherwise your kidding yourself.

We are a side in the middle of a rebuild not able to compete with Geelong when they are on their A game just yet.

You guys are in a similar boat. Round one will help open that other eye for you.

Just taking a realistic view on the result.

According to Bluebear the Hawks only played 20 minutes of decent football for that whole game yet it was enough to blow you guys away.

Surely theres a hint there as to where you sit in the scheme of things this season.

Roll on round one so one of us will have bragging rights...... for a while anyway.:)

Did you miss the bit where we lost by only 34 points.......which rather than get by cheap kicks at the end we actually clawed back in the second quarter.

20 minutes, of young defenders being exposed...........I have no problems with the Hawks game.

What positives have you taken from the Geelong game.......other than no injuries?:o
