Landsborough, though not back up and running by any means, may be on the way to forming an odd relationship with larger neighbour Stawell.

Warriors solve jumper crisis
Stawell Castrol Warriors will wear the Landsborough Football Club's old jumpers for their round 16 clash with arch rivals, Ararat.
Stawell president, Mr Tony Dark has been busy searching for an alternative to the jumpers to avoid confusion between players, umpires and supporters.
Mr Dark said Stawell had approached Landsborough about the use of their jumpers and their reply was a positive one.
``Our club vice president, Mr Robert Morris, made contact with Landsborough president, Mr Graham `Buck' Sandlant, enquiring about their jumpers after going into recess.
``Graham stated that they had 35 jumpers in good condition and was very positive about offering them for our use.
``We are to catch up this week and inspect the jumpers and once this has been done, we will be putting the proposal before the club and the Wimmera League to have our senior team utilise these jumpers for our next Ararat game,'' he said.
According to Mr Dark, the Landsborough jumpers are not in line with the current Stawell jumpers, but was grateful to Landsborough for their support and hoped they would get fully behind the idea.
``The colours are the Hawthorn strip of brown and gold and while they are not in line with our present club colours, we are certainly grateful for this offer by the Landsborough Football Club.
``It may be an opportunity for Landsborough supporters to see their colours on the football field again and at Wimmera League level.
``Landsborough supporters, I'm sure, will be behind this event and may even claim the day as a Landsborough Football Club outing,'' he said.
Mr Dark was enthusiastic about the idea and was hopeful that Stawell and Landsborough could form a partnership.
``This opportunity may even create a partnership with Landsborough and Stawell clubs, because I believe they have fantastic facilities and we may be looking for alternative venues for some pre-season training for next season and this may even be an option,'' he said.
Before speaking with Landsborough, Mr Dark had approached the Essendon Football Club and the Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club for support and although they received a positive response from Melbourne Storm, it was unsuitable.
``Melbourne Storm replied with a positive response to our request, however their compromise response to our request was unsuitable.
``I must commend them as they did offer us something, but Essendon replied they were unable to assist at any level,'' Mr Dark said.
Mr Dark had also approached the Rupanyup Football Club for the use of their Marnoo coloured jumpers, but due to the fact that Rupanyup play arch rivals Kalkee on the same weekend, this option was not available.
According to Mr Dark, if this had not been the case, he thought that Rupanyup would have been a good idea, as the two clubs have a good relationship.
Mr Dark also said the club was in the middle of finding a more permanent solution to the problem.
