Building on Rosy3's thread - adding a poll.

Be advised it also a public poll...we can see who you voted for.

Go the Lakers.

Also - think Yarra Glen ditched the 'River Pigs' for something more family friendly - could be the bombers maybe???

The Glen are now called the "Thunder". Not as good as the River Pigs in my opinion but they made the change to be percieved as more family friendly which is understandable.

Who are all your new recruits (you will need plenty), old man Beare is the only decent transfer and he would be nudging 40. Suggest for Franna to win the goal kicking that you guys will need to get a stack of the pill to him. Would have to be the worst set shot for goal from a forward i have seen, to kick 80 goals he would need 250 odd shots.

Who won the praccy game against South??

your right, i think he kicked 3.7 against alex in the prelim last year and he wont kick any against thornton cos D.Creed has his measure, so 2 games of 0 to 1 goals makes it hard in 16 games with hally averagin about 80 over the last 3 years and selkrig 70 odd last year.

yarra glen have lost joel simmonds and steven king from last year.. 2 big losses but have picked up approx 10-12 new players of which 8 or so will be playing 1's or pushing for a spot in the 1's

I'm a Belgrave lad, predominately through cricket but played footy last season. I'll be up and down between the reserves and the seniors but looking forward to the season ahead and blooding some younger blokes.

The Yea Tigers.

Having a family connection with the town has left me with a soft spot for this club.

I'm not expecting big things this year but Yea is finally in the right compettion and with a nice ground all looks good.
