Playing in a band 2-3 nights a week makes it a bit tough to find the time and energy, but like you Macca i managed to get to the BDO and also saw System in their own show, which is probably the highlight of my year so far!
Caught Front End Loader recently and they are as grouse as always! Saw Pacifier (Shihad) ealrier in the year and was dead keen to see em again tonite in melbourne but i'm getting over a ****ing ruptured oesophigus at the moment so kinda rules that out!!
Caught the mighty Body Jar earlier this year. Rockin as always!
Thats about it unless you count all the mates whose bands i've returned the favour of seeing in in the local cover's seen.

Who I've seen pales into insignificance because 'Ensign' are coming to town. :)

Ummm, haven't been to as many gigs this year.
Only real highlight was the Warped tour. 28 Days, The Vandals, Guttermouth, Bodyjar, Area 7, Bosstones and New Found Glory all impressed - but Pennywise were unbelievable. Absolutely blew everyone out of the water.

Do they still open with Fight Till You Die and end with Bro Hymm?
I'm a huge Pennywise fan but thought Land of the Free was crap.

They sure do!!! Bro Hymn was clearly the song of the tour, had everyone on stage going ballistic. The only song they played from Land of the Free? was F**k Authority.
Oh yeah, I think Sum 41 was this year, and I know people will laugh, but they were pretty damn good.
Also seen Commissioner Gordan a few times, one of Australia's best ska bands.

Aww lucky you :( ;)
I like your avatar a lot, can't wait for the new album! hehe
But I haven't seen any bands play this year...or ever. I can't ever find anyone who would wanna go with me to who I wanna see, and I can't exactly go by myself, so yeah lol.
