Was a good debate last year that I wouldn't mind raising again.

Many of the APS grounds have been resurfaced. Geelong College have gone for a new blade of grass that looked terrific when I saw it the other day. Carey seems to be coping well in the drought, but then when it buckets down becomes a swamp.

Xavier have invested in some massive tanks to collect run off from the huge sports complex. They are pumping the water into the surface and I must say its coming up a treat. There is a new $200K digital scoreboard that has replay and live feed which will entertain a grandstand that holds nearly a thou. When the seats behind the goals are filled I think it has an atmosphere that cant be matched.

Scotch will have the best ground always do. It will be right after easter and some rain

scotches ground is still crap i played cricket there recently, dried up not lookign healthy.
as for careys main oval, its in magificent state. pumping the water from the creek has don it wonders, and i honestly cant remeber the last time it flooded

mgs's ground at flack park is coming along nicely but still doesn't look to good. should be in great nick for the start of the footy season.

cgs (caulfield campus) have re-layed the oval with couch and installed 2 huge water tanks aswell, the oval is looking sharp

Really poor effort Couch Potato in taking this thread away from its founder and master ' Jockey sized Midfielder'.
Carey has by far the best ground it was decided this way last year, in superb condition
