Anyone go today? There was more there than i thought there would be but it was a pretty good day with the same stuff being reiterated to the supporters about a new game plan and the like. All the players were there, none on crutches or having any sort of bandages. Rivers was the only one with a slight limp. Ron Barassi and Robbie Flower were there too. :thumbsu:

Shame we can't get those last two back on the park and in their primes.

Heard Bailey/Neitz told the crowd the players had to go for a 7am hill run as punishment for their performance in Bendigo. Good stuff if you ask me.

You seem to be underestimating the hill-running abilites of Jonesy my friend. Thats second only to questioning anything Juice does in terms of MFC blasphemy.

2 Dogs. As much as I hate to say it and yes I am a fan of him but Juice needs to give us much more for us to praise him like we do.
Yes he is young and can leap and kick a few goals at AFL level, but I really want to see him step up and be consistant.

I quite agree with you. In fact to think that Juice will the answer to our prays this year is very ambitious thinking. But at the same time, I just really love talking him up to biblical proportions.
Oh theres is nothing like a MFC cult hero. Just thank the lord we haven't done a Geelong and chosen a spastic ruckman as our new lord and saviour.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to give Bev O'connor the microphone at our family day should be shot. She was shocking, half the time I don't think she knew the players names let alone what they have done. She preferred to talk about the haircuts!! It was embarassing.
