View Full Version : How did the draftees play in their SANFL trials over the weekend ?
Did most of the players that have not had a run play a game over the weekend with their SANFL team and how did they fare ???
It is always good to know as unfortunately it is all AFL in the Advertiser at the moment !

Curnow injured at the moment, but has been to watch both Glenelg's internal trials, which is a positive sign.
Jacky played for WWT.IMHO he was played out of position should have been small roving forward .But he looks a better size for the SANFL at this stage of his career .Hard to judge as WWT were beaten 3 out of 4 terms saturday .

^^ What position was he played as?
^^ What position was he played as?
Now that is a very good question he was not up forward on baller or in the centre.
He did 1 or 2 good things but like the lads from the VFL in the WWT team he needs a few more games to see how he will go this year.
Would say he will spend this year at Oval Ave IMHO.
Still way to early to make a call on his future .I have been known to do that early about WWT players and end up with egg on my face :D

He was played as a winger/Forward Flank.
IMO didn't play a very good game. But its only a trial so who cares.

Didnt think he was on a forward flank .watched him around the ground at ball ups .
Like you say it was only a trial that WWT did not try and win !!

All Crow listed players who played for Norwood in their epic clash with Norwood on Friday night were simply brilliant and should all get a spot in the Grand Final this week.

I heard that Jacky may have actually stood Port draftee Mitchell Farmer, so that would have been an interesting match up.
does anyone know if walker palyed or not???
and if he played well or not???

jacky and farmer did play on each other for most of the game last week but farmer looked like he had the upper hand - especially when jacky was playing up forward

Has Myke Cook played any SANFL footy so far?
If so, how did he go?
Cheers.

Has been on the injury list (hamstring) for the last couple of weeks. According to the AFC website he should be available to play next week.
