I know expectations are high after last year but half the list is aged between 20 and 21..

I reckon we are at 9 o'clock, we need the 20 and 21 year bracket to move up to 23 and 24yrs

That's the worrying bit. We're at the same stage as the 99 Bulldogs, which just had Nathan Brown, and that's all.

If it's that, I'd say we're at 10.30. We have the list to do it, but we don't know if they're ready to go all the way following the loss of 3 senior players, including the captain and vice-captain.

The number of 20 and 21 year olds is a concern, at least on face value. But the quality of the top six or seven of them, and the achievements in their careers so far, makes up for it because have already shown they are are capable of playing well beyond their years.

So its possible for us to achieve great things this year. We'll need some luck, however.

There will be tremendous pressure on some of our young talls (Cox Brown Reid Dawes Rusling Cloke etc) and on Wood and Fraser. But if they hold up to the challenge and the midfield find a touch more class (improvement from Pendlebury Didak Thomas etc) , the sky's the limit.

Interesting point - I'd look at who is at 20/21 instead of how many are that age. From what i saw last year there is plenty of talent in that bracket. So heaps of room for improvement - i'd say 9.30pm

I don't care how old our players are... if they are good enough they are old enough. I don't subscribe to us needing to have certain players at certain ages to have any hope.

Our players just have to improve 5% on last year and we will be in the thick of it. Our forward line is good enough, our midfield needs to be boosted by Didak, Thomas, Davis, Medhurst, H Shaw, Rhyce tagging.... and our ruck stocks are clearly better than last year with Wood. Harry O needs to become our rock in defence at CHB and someone else must emerge and surprise back there...

On the contrary, I was mearly pointing out that you used the English language as well (or poorly) as Tarkyn_24, hence, no need to criticise. The sentiment remains the same no matter which word you choose to use. :cool:

If Chris Bryan wasn't smothered in the prelim we might be still celebrating and talking top 4 again. The others (teams) still have to catch up, as well as us improving. We didn't look too flash against port i concede but had a few missing just the same. Like to see us down the corridor a lot more..
