Dont know if its been on here or not, sorry if it has, but i just heard Robbo got off because it was deemed unavoidable contact. Meaning he will be available against us in round 1.
Damm thats bad news because Brown wouldve been his likely match up and now he is rubbed out I guess Guerra will get first crack? I wouldnt be surprised if Clarko brings in Murphy to play on Robbo.

I don't think Guerra has the ability to stay with Robbo. Murphy on the other hand is really accountable on most opponents he matches up on.
I think Murphy will be called upon a little more this season and will rise to the occassion! ;)

We'll have him covered.
Who are Melbourne's key forwards? I'd expect Neitz and their second forward (Miller?) to be handled by Croad and Gilly. They'll struggle to get more than 4 goals between those two guys.
Then we might even put birchall on Robertson? Swapping with Murph and Guerra.
He'll pop up with a few but he won't be the difference between the sides.

I would think Gilham would get Newton, Croad on Neitz, Murphy on Robertson.

I'd be worried about Murph on Robbo. Don't get me wrong - I've been really impressed with Murphy in the pre-season (except for one particular kick that stands out in my mind) and I definitely want him in the team - but I'm not sure if he could handle such a crafty little prick.
Maybe he should just sledge him about that "it takes two" show.

Have you guys been following the actions of our forward coahc David Dunbar?
Lol it's quite funny from a Dees supporter perspective and Im glad were sending him dwon there but from all reports Clarko wasn't too happy with it. And I can understand why if some of you guys weren't.
Seems like Rivers and Whelan probably won't be right I know its not equal to the loss of Crawf, Lewis, Hodge and Brown etc but nether the less they probably would have matched up on Franklin and Williams

Yeah I am not confident in the match up but I would think he would be the best option at the moment. I do not think Guerra is good enough defending in the air to run with Robbo, nor do I think Ladson is suited as a small defender and he will most likey go with Davey.

I think Birch would be our best available matchup but we'll probably need him in the midfield with all the suspensions.
Might have to employ the flood.
