You don't know how right you are, Wedgie...
If Norwood had scored one more goal - or Port one less - it would have been Port's biggest ever defeat.
If my memory serves me correctly, Port's biggest ever loss was by 122 points v Norwood at Adelaide Oval in '97, Norwood's last premiership year.
Furthermore, Port has been beaten by over 100 points only 3 (I think) other times in history.
Looks like the Bays have a challenger for the title of "most inept SANFL club" :D

They may be inept, but they'll still somehow make the five.

My son plays for Ports under 17's this morning (Saturday)
against Norwood.
In my eyes the shining star...no matter how he plays, when ,where, or what position.
Better than watching an AFL grand Final, just to see him touch the ball.

Holly I find it hard to believe watching North get thumped every week isn't your weekly footy highlight! lmao

You wait until we drag you over to live in Prospect & out of the sticks, & your young lad is playing for the mighty Roys u8s.
You`ll be champing at the bit at 8.30 on a Sunday morning, in pouring rain & 4 degrees. Thats when you find real passion.;)

Last night was the first SANFL game I had seen for years, and I loved it. I will now add it to the things I really miss about living in Adelaide. 8000 people at a game with passion and great beer, standing up, with Port getting a flogging. What more could any person want.
Carn the Legs!
....And I get to see the Crows v Dogs on Sunday before the flight back to Melbourne. What a great week in Adelaide!

Sounds like a weekend in Hell to me!!
Port getting pumped by Norwood, sh*tty Cooper ****, and having to go to AAMI stadium and sit with w*nker cows supporters and watch the Western Bulldogs minus Eago! Not to mention the Power getting done. Now if you added a trip to the Dentist and the tax man coming around then you would have the perfect weekend NOT!!!!

Have to agree with you. Both my boys play footy and it's the highlight of my week. Hate it when their season finishes but then their cricket starts and that's even more time consuming and just as much of a thrill to watch them.

Mission Accomplished:
1 Norwood thumping Port on Friday night
2 Local soccer side Para Hills d Port Lion Pirates 1-0 to ensure survival in the SASF Premier League on Saturday night. My little brother played well for the opposition, but not too well :)
3 Port getting done by the 'Roos on Saturday
4 Crows d Bulldogs on Sunday arvo.
Perfect winter weekend, and the weather was great too! Flew back to Melbourne with the doggies players, didn't they look like a happy bunch! I miss Adelaide already. :(
